What is the difference in height between the high and low options?

I got the low and it is perfect for me, since I'm a small person, I did not try the high so I can't tell you the difference

i need a soft cooling pillow tha supports my short neck. Any suggestions?

I absolutely LOVE this pillow, however, if you are looking for soft, this is NOT soft. I love it because it really supports my neck alignment. I use the thicker end for when I am on my side, and the smaller end for when I am on my back. I travel with this pillow I love it so much. BUT once again, it is NOT soft. If you want a soft pillow, try the purple pillow. It is soft but supportive.
