Philips Sonicare Battery Toothbrush, Midnight Blue, HY1100/04

Love this toothbrush! My sister had one and loved it so I got one for myself. I love that it is battery powered so I don’t have to keep it on the sink to charge. I also really like that it comes with a case to keep the bristles clean. It makes it so easy to travel with and is super light weight. Highly recommended this toothbrush!

I was a bit skeptical. I've had expensive electric brushes in the past. Specifically Sonicare and Oral B. They were good, but expensive, the price of the consumables was tiresome, and eventually I just went back to regular brushes. But I needed a new brush, and I was about to travel overseas, and the price was right so I gave it a shot. Its actually a great little toothbrush! I feel like my teeth are indeed cleaner than with manual brushing. It runs on a battery so I don't need a converter for international travel to charge it, and it fits snugly in its protective case which has a magnetic clasp to keep it shut. The brush is lightweight, and doesn't take up a lot of space in my toiletry bag. It also has a nice little niche on the bottom to get it out of the case with your thumb. I used this thing with its original battery for a month overseas, and I've kept using it at home. Its only just in the last day or so seeming a bit less "buzzy". I'm honestly surprised how much I like this little thing; and at how clean my teeth feel afterwards. I rarely give something five stars but this thing earned them.

This stays in my travel toiletry bag at all times. Found this compact and convenient little brush useful while brushing my teeth in the plane's small toilet or whenever on trips when I don't want to bring my electric set. Not as powerful as the electric ones but does the job. Happy with overall quality and performance.

Love the size of this toothbrush. Only complaint is that I can't hear the 30 second change but that is minor. Great for travel and nice not having another charger to drag around.

This lightweight battery toothbrush is great. I've been through battery toothbrushes that were so clunky and heavy and were so harsh. Not this one. It's lightweight, easy to hold, is a tolerable strength and my teeth feel very fresh and clean after using it. The brush size is also great. As someone who is petite, a pet pee e has been battery toothbrushes that are monstrosities. This one is the perfect size. This toothbrush is a great value and the fun color is a bonus.

I remember when electric toothbrushes were a very expensive novelty. I am so glad we are past that. Sure, you can buy an electric toothbrush for $200 and it can connect to an app and it can show you how you brush your teeth and give you all sorts of feedback. That's great. I do not have $200 to blow on a toothbrush, and I don't want to have to connect my toothbrush to an app. This is a great functional toothbrush that does exactly what it needs to do. It uses one AAA battery that last for 3 months, which serves as a great reminder to switch out your brush head. It has a 2 minute brushing program and it vibrates every 30 seconds to let you know it's time to switch to the next quadrant of your mouth. It's thorough, and I have that nice squeaky feeling I get after the dentist, but I don't feel like it is overdoing it or that I'm scrubbing all the enamel off my teeth. It's also not super loud, which doesn't really matter, but I like that. The case is nice and sturdy, and I appreciate that it protects my toothbrush if I'm traveling. I do wish it could stand up or that it wasn't quite as bulky so I could put it in a cup a little more easily for daily storage, but that's not really a huge deal. I have already recommended this toothbrush to other people, and I intend to keep doing so.

However, the brush just doesn’t feel as powerful as a regular Sonicare. It gives gentle vibrations, but doesn’t offer that deep-cleaning sensation I’m used to. 🧳 Sleek and Travel-Friendly Design The compact build and included travel case are genuinely convenient (page 2, bottom right). It fits nicely in a toiletry bag and doesn’t take up much space. Ideal for business trips or quick weekend getaways. 🦷 Not Ideal for Daily Use or Deep Cleaning If you're switching from a traditional electric Sonicare model, this will feel like a step down. There's only one mode, and the vibrations are mild. The two-minute SmarTimer and 30-second QuadPacer (also shown on page 2) are helpful, but the actual brushing power just doesn’t match up for thorough daily cleaning. ✅ Pros: Super lightweight and great for travel Long-lasting battery (3 months on 1 AAA) Sleek design with a hygienic travel case ❌ Cons: Weak vibrations compared to full Sonicare models Single brushing mode with limited cleaning intensity Not rechargeable (uses disposable battery) Overall: This toothbrush works well for portability and occasional use, but if you're expecting the same performance as a full-size Sonicare, you'll be disappointed. I love these colorful toothbrushes. They are not expensive and so practical with their cute cover. I have 3 of time for my house, office and in my travel bag. With a battery, no need to charge them on a ugly base that gets filthy.

El sonicare one es un muy buen elemento para comenzar en el mundo de los cepillos eléctricos. Da un masaje suave, es ergonómico, funciona con una pila y sus puntas son intercambiables, también cuenta con un practico estuche para guardarlo, todo a un precio bastante contenido, sin embargo hasta ahí, no esperes maravillas, tiene poca potencia, no es ajustable, no tiene diferentes modos de cepillado ni nada, un solo botón para encender y apagar, es todo, pero la verdad cumple con lo básico.

Those kind of toothbrushes are not as good as the ones with rotating heads. The brush just vibrates but doesn’t spin. The color is very nice. Battery is already inserted so toothbrush is ready to be used. To change the battery, you need a coin to open the wand. The case is well designed so you can carry the toothbrush without a toiletries bag. I removed 2 stars because it’s not as efficient as traditional toothbrush with rotating head, which makes it more expensive than it’s worth.

Bought to replace the same toothbrush from years ago, went for battery this time. I’ve had it for 4 months now use it twice a day and still haven’t replaced the battery, really easy to use. Love the case design and the quality is really good! Perfect for travelling aswell due to the design of the case
