Greatest thing ever, I was about to replace my washing machine with a new one. Because the wash drum would keep on banging on the side of the housing. So I decided to give it a try, and now after replacing the shocks on the washing machine, everything works fine. Truly good value for the money. It saves me from having to buy a new washing machine. Installing was super easy with my wife helping me a bit . Replacement instructional videos can be found on the internet. So far, it has been about three months that I replaced this and it’s holding up great.

These suspension rods were a perfect fit for the Admiral washer I was repairing. The washer would bounce around the laundry room during rinse cycle, but that all stopped once I installed these new rods. Quality seems to be equal to the original rods. Time will tell but by appearance and installation seems to me to be a quality replacement. After install I ran a large load of towels and the machine didn't move at all and vibration was less then some other new machines. Outstanding product.

Undid top of washer with just a couple of screws, tilted washer forward and installed these from bottom. Had 3 people helping. 2 on the top holding and tilting, one on the bottom installing the 4 new rods. The videos show one person can do it by unhooking the water lines and laying the washer on the side but we didn't want to do that and don't have the room for that anyway. We didn't use any of the new plastic top-cup pieces as the old ones are in fine shape. The rods are a bit thinner than the original but sturdy enough. It takes a steady hand and a bit of patience to get it installed but anyone can really do it with a little help from a friend or child. It took us about 35 minutes from start to finish. I don't know about longevity since we have only used for about 4 months. BUT is was like night and day. I wish I had done it sooner as it was relatively easy and the machine works SO SMOOTHLY now, not a hint of vibration compared to the previous banging and jumping, sometimes even with careful balancing. It is SO GOOD. If your machine is banging/not balancing, just replace these. You won't regret it.
