Secure fitment and works great
Used on a Harley M8 engine and it worked smoothly with no issues yet. The socket grips the stud and with a slow ratcheting movement without being too aggressive the stud came right out. These are a must in anyone’s tool box.

Worked flawlessly to pull a damaged stud on my Harley motor
I accidentally damaged the threaded exhaust stud on the front head of my motorcycle. Although I have a fullsized Harley touring bike (a 2017) with a crash bar and lower fairings, I had zero space / fitment issues with sliding the 5/16 bit in place over the stud. From there I simply attached my ratchet and quickly and easily removed the damaged stud with just a few moments of effort. This tool made pulling the stud an absolute 100% non-event, and avoided me having to pull the head off the engine to deal with the threaded stud. Absolutely worth every penny for my issue.

Works great
I do some engines at work and have to swapped studs all the time. This is a great addition to the toolbox. You will need a 3/8 ratchet and a 1/2 ratchet for the bigger sizes.

Did exactly what I needed.
Did exactly what I needed. Removed studs without damaging the threads so they could be reused. They appear to be good quality additions to my collection of specialty engine tools. Just wish I had these 20+ years ago while rebuilding Mustang engines.

Don't last long...
Purchased these based on their good reviews. Unfortunately, I can't agree.I bought these because I needed to remove the studs from my Flathead engine. I removed approximately 10 and then the tool broke. The rollers just fell out. They were not abused. I used a torque wrench set to 60 ft/lbs to prevent snapping off the 7/16 studs. Lot's of penetrating oil and heat. So if you only have a couple of studs to remove, these do work good. However, they wear out fast so don't expect longevity.

Works as advertised.
Worked perfectly on a sheared off 5/16" exhaust manifold stud with only 1/2" of stud remaining.
