It works.
I have three SAS drives and I used three of these cables to plug them into a SAS compatible motherboard and everything has been working great for the past month.I read the negative reviews and i think most people are trying to plug SAS drives into SATA ports that are not SAS compatible. I could be wrong, but it appears most negative reviews are blaming the product for their lack of how to use it.Everything works great and it was a good price, so I am leaving 5 stars. :)

The length in the description is not accurate
The description has these as 50cm. They are approximately 10cm. As a result they’re extremely hard to use inside any case without an extension cable.

Good extension easy to use
Sometimes your hard drive have a different hook up in the back but this will fit both of those hookup on the back of an update hard drive

Do not buy it if you do not have SAS controller.
Basically no use. Your motherboard needs SAS support. But I think most of them do not.

Works great!
Had no issues using these cables for multiple SAS drives. If you have an onboard SAS controller that has sata connectors look no further. This will not make a SAS drive work with SATA interface without having some controller.

Did exactly what I needed
Completed the interface between my SAS hard drive and my Dell T7400 computer. Worked just as intended.
