Yes, you have three prongs on plug, bend the middle one upward so it won't go in plug, just slightly if I can remember right, I went through same issue and I'm sure that was the problem

Q: Since they are seperate hi/lo beam do i only hook up the geound and corresponding wire to the headlight? Or lo beam needs to hook up both? Kenwort800

On one light from the three prongs lift up the middle so it won't make contact, only two should go in plug, left and right only

Q: Do you sell the high beams separately?

One pair is high beam one is low, high seems to be a little thicker but I managed to fit it in my peterbilt379. They look cool 😎 and are pretty bright. The Down side is they don't get warm at all so when frozen snow hits it and sticks its not going anywhere.

Q: Will these fit my 1986 Chevy k10?

If yout K10 has the same head like set up as an 86 C-10. They should fit
