So easy to install, my 16 year old installed it!!!
My son’s car was completely dead and would not start. I had one of those gadgets to read error codes for when the check engine light comes on. It showed the error, “Camshaft Sensor Circuit”. Rather than all the expense to tow the vehicle and an expensive repair, we ordered the part. The price was cheap enough and good ol’ YouTube had some videos that looked like it was something we could easily do ourselves. We got the part delivered and before I knew it, my son had already installed it without me! It was actually one of his very first repairs and I was even more proud that he did it on his own. The car fired right up and he was back to having a car again. Highly recommend.

Working great so far
Was very skeptical of this part at the price compared to other sensors..... No complaints so far, working great and fixed my stalling issue. I installed this on a 05 nissan frontier 2.5l automatic 4 cylinder. The location is a bit of a pain to get to but i weaseled my way in without pulling off the front passenger side tire. If this sensor becomes a problem in the future the tire comes off, it just make it so much easier. The crankshaft sensor location it just above the oil filter and below the starter. It's the sensor on the left with the bolt holding it in place. I backed out the bolt then took the connector off, grabbed the new one placed the connector back on then stuck it in the hole and bolted it down (snug not super tight). There is an o-ring that needs a tiny bit of oil that you can rub around with your finger, not enough to drip but enough to make it shiny.

Worked!!!
2004 Nissan Altima 4 cyl with crankshaft position sensor error code. I could of changed just that one but this set was an excellent price so I changed the camshaft sensor as well. I have read to do both anyways rather then the only one in question. Runs perfect with a quick start rather then the 8 sec turnover before starting.

Works.
Fixed my dying at random times problem. The only issue I notice is that it cranks over longer to start initially now then it did previously. Not sure why, or if it related to this part. Looks just like the original part I replaced.

Does not fit a 2004 Nissan Sentra!
I assume this also won't fit on 2002-2006 Nissan Sentras, but all I know is it did not fit on my 2004 Nissan Sentra.Frustrating because Amazon told me this would fit my 2004 Sentra. I obviously returned it.On my 2004 Sentra, the crankshaft position sensor (below the engine, need to jack up vehicle) and the camshaft position sensor (on top of the engine, hood accessible) are the SAME style sensor. After removal of my old sensor, I looked at it for comparison. The correct sensor that is found in a 2004 Sentra is kind of at an angle (as shown in the attached pictures). It has like a "cross/holes" on one side of the sensor. I am not for sure, but I imagine a 2002-2006 Sentra probably has a similar sensor. If you need to replace the camshaft position sensor, it is easy. The crankshaft position sensor is not so easy (but it is doable). This is the correct sensor for a 2004 Sentra that I ended up ordering: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00503OR4CI give this AUTEX item three stars because it doesn't fit even though Amazon said it would, but it MAY be the correct part on other vehicles!Hope this helps someone!
