Super handy shot size, to keep in my rucksack, workout bag, or even my car. A good alternative to sugary energy drinks. Consistent quality that you can expect from Optimum Nutrition, which I’ve trusted as my go-to supplement brand for years.The ready-to-drink shots lack some ingredients of powder based pre-workouts, such as creatine, but still provides a decent boost. The flavours are very strong aa expected for a PWO shot but tasty nonetheless.

Great product and works well for giving your workouts a kick start. I am little bit concerned that there is not date stamp visible on any of the kids. This could be out of date stock for all I know.

I initially found these quite sour the first few I had but realised they work great and quickly got used to the flavour soon after. My morning routine is to run between 5-10km before work and I take one of these shots 20-25 mins before I start. Considering I am finishing upto a 10k run by 8am I’d say they do the trick! I do get a tingly/itchy sensation in my face and hands about 10-15 mins after I take the shot but it doesn’t last too long and it’s not too severe. Certainly worth having one of these than not. I have tried a couple other pre work out shots from the gym vending machines but this is still my preferred brand and flavour and get this on subscribe and save.

Great tasting and strong preworkout, effects are different from the powder opti nutrition pre workout (more tingly, hits you quicker) deffo recommend if you don’t want to carry around the bug powder tub however it is more expensive but deffo worth it.

The taste of this makes it hard to swallow, like it's some medicine, too chemical. If I didn't know what it is, I would've thought it's some washing up liquid... Anyway, performance is what matters in the end, so after a few minutes of taking it, you can feel some tingling to the face, ears, hands etc., but this fades in like 20-30 min. The energysing effect for me is very random, sometimes it gives me enough energy to have a fast 30 min workout, other times it's useless for a workout, it may only wake you up when tired or sleepy. Nevertheless, this proved to be stronger than ON pre-workout in powder form.
