Beware this stuff marks too well.
As any carpenter knows most of the time when you chalk a line it's either red or blue, and it fades really fast. Not this chalk, this black chalk really sticks out and it marks not only well but lasts a long time. I chalked an entire subfloor and it was expose all weekend to rain and wind and when we got back on Monday it was all there like we had just chalked it. Love it so much that I bought the other colors, I will only buy this brand form now on.
