This is a good filter for a great air purifier. I have owned so many air purifiers. I have spent 500.00 to 89.00 over the pandemic for health reasons for a family member, a sick dog, and someone with sensitivity. It is my favorite and most reliable, and not to forget a more reasonably priced system. The thing that annoyed me the most was my needing to be informed through research that some filters were $$$$ and needed to be replaced in 3 months. Tip: You should vacuum all filers between changing. You will see how much dust and dander you have by doing so and moving it around the room or changing rooms. Read the sq footage of what you need to accompany the area you are putting it in. I never knew any of this and had to learn the hard $$$$$ way.
