These might be a bit too big for pipes with a smaller or curved air hole through the stem, but they do work well for most of my pipes. The stiff bristle material helps with scraping the build up from inside the stem and stummel. It's a bit of a tight fit for the Dr. Grabow, fits well with my Petersons & Savinelli pipes. Too big for my German Clay Pipes though.

I’m not using them to clean a pipe 😉 but they work great in cleaning the tubes and water spouts of my kitty water fountains. They get into the small crevices and clean them well.

This pack of 200 pipe cleaners are the best option to spotlessly clean your smoking pipes, bongs, dab rigs and any item that you want to reach into tight cracks and crevices to thoroughly scour. These are not your flimsy arts and crafts chenille pipe cleaners, these are sturdy, and the material scrubs and absorbs spots and stains well. They are bendable and hold their shape to reach into narrow and angled areas, and they lather up well with just a bit of soap. You can bend these at any point to create a clean, new, soft scrubbing head, unlike metal pipe cleaners which are harder to bend and have a sharp metal tip that can scratch or break your glass. I suggest using these with dish gloves as they can be a bit prickly to hold, but even without gloves you can maneuver these precisely where you want them. You aren't limited to just smoking pipes either. Use these to clean glass and metal drinking straws, intricate jewelry, small models and toys, and keep hand tools dirt free and moving smoothly. Excellent value to keep your precision items clean as new.

Very sturdy. Haven't seen the flakes coming off as in other reviews. Fits perfectly in a one hitter and cleans it very well. Plenty long for cleaning and still having enough leftover to hang on to.

I got these to clean our bong, and wow!!! Using some orange chronic or warm water with coarse salt and a few of these pipe cleaners and it’s sparkly brand new!! The pipe cleaners are definitely more thorny than your normal ones, but this helps get all the hard tar / gunk off. I do wear gloves when using these only cause my skin is so sensitive and the little pricks hurt my fingers. But otherwise, these are great!!

I use these to clean small water pipes and motors for fountains and they work great. My tap water tends to leave a bit of yuck that I couldn't reach in the bent/curved areas of the pipes and fits into the little annoying spots on the motors that I can't get with other brushes. These pipe cleaners are fantastic.

These are amazing!!!! Beware these are super hard and the bristles prick the skin at times. Will Purchase again.
