I’ve been using and buying this product for over a year now and am on my third tube, so it’s definitely time for a review. Obviously, since I’ve bought it three times, I like the product. I got folliculitis after a facial at a spa, so now I have to use products that I know won’t cause a flare-up. This was the first cream I tried and I liked it so much I stopped looking. It is super affordable, moisturizes my skin without making it greasy, and doesn’t exacerbate folliculitis. It has no discernible scent, keeps my skin barrier healthy, and never burns, even if I’ve gone heavy on the Differin.

OK this cream is AMAZING. I am in love. I never really give rave reviews, and I have had a lot of bad experiences with skincare products in the past. (FYI my skin type is oily and acne-prone, just had a baby so dealing with hormonal acne.) Recently I was suffering from one of the worst acne breakouts in my life because of a really terrible, pore-clogging sleeping mask that I stupidly decided to experiment with. I was miserable and had to start using a benzoyl peroxide spot treatment, which did improve it significantly. Then I started adding this glycolic/salicylic acid cream in the last step of my nighttime skincare routine, and saw a MAJOR difference. All the rough and bumpy skin on my jawline (closed comedones) literally disappeared overnight. My skin feels so soft now. It also significantly reduced the active pimples I had, and has already faded the acne scars I developed from this recent breakout. I also notice that my skin is plumper and more hydrated overall. I am so impressed and going to recommend this cream to everyone. I was honestly amazed to find a "moisturizer" that does not break me out, but actually significantly improved my skin. (I put "moisturizer" in quotes because if you have dry or combo skin it definitely won't be enough of a moisturizer for you, but for oily gals like myself this is perfect.) If you have dry or combo skin I would layer another moisturizer on top, because this is a very thin, gel-like consistency.

I feel like with the new formula line, my skin isn't as dry. Still evens out the redness and feels very light.

I love this product so much! It helped fade my dark spots without the peeling or irritation I usually get with other products.

Still a nice moisturizer- I’m super bummed the texture is different though. I actually loved the way the madecassoside 2x version hung around but didn’t break me out. This new version may be more popular because it sinks in very fast, but it feels less hydrating. Won’t be repurchasing unless I really can’t find something else. Sad.

Loved this glycolic acid, it's soft and absorbs quickly

My skin is really sensitive, prone to clogging and breakouts, and combo oily/dry in patches - so difficult! I'm really happy I got this glycolic acid because it's been helping so much with texture and scarring from old breakouts. As other reviewers have stated, this product did make my skin purge at first, but that's to be expected with new treatments, and it wasn't that bad for me. If you have sensitive skin it's best to start out slow. I've been rotating it with a 2% salicylic acid (Cos de Baha brand) and this combo has been working wonders. I use the salicylic acid 3 nights in a row, and then the glycolic acid the 4th night, and repeat. It's been a couple of weeks, and my skin looks so much healthier - no dead skin, smoother, firmer, and every day my scars fade a little more. My pores have gotten noticeably smaller. Really glad I tried this one, and the price can't be beat.

Love Love Love! Gentle on the skin, lovely and cooling, light when applied but effective. My partner has tried so many products, steroid ointments from the doctors, many tubs and tubs of heavy creams and ointments for his eczema but I have to say this product has been very effective!!! The first week using I noticed the grey patches left behind on his skin started clearing, the red flare ups are controlled when applying this gel cream, feels cool on the skin and helps stop the itching. After a couple of weeks of use his skin has started looking even. I ordered more of the product, a month or 2 and we noticed his skin looking a lot more youthful, less lines and wrinkles. Great for hot weather flare ups too and it does not feel heavy, I definitely recommend, I will be ordering more!! It would be great if they did big tubs of this for people who have skin conditions like eczema all over the body as we have to go through a lot of the tubes, however they are the perfect size for the face as you only need a small amount but for all over the body a lot more is needed.
