Perixx PERIBOARD-409WU US, Wired USB Mini Keyboard - White - US English

Somewhat impressed, haven't tried N-key rollovers, nor do I care; but the keyboard works well for an Intel Pentium 3 class computer (AKA retro) rebuild. PROS 1) Very lightweight Dell layout styled keyboard. 2) Very long PS2 cable. 3) Adequately sensitive key switches, better than cheap IBM F-style keyboards. CONS 1) Number, caps, scroll lock blue LEDs are significantly too bright, could be reduced 3-4x's!

This is a really nice small keyboard. It feels good, and responds well on the computer. If you need a PS/2 keyboard that doesn't take much space, this might be the keyboard for you.

We have to have a old school keyboard

We like Perixx products. They make the best ergonomic keyboards today. They have keyboards that are closest to the best keyboard series ever, the Microsoft Natural Keyboard Elite. This keyboard is a mini and is not ergonomic. They wired cable is plenty long. The design appearance is very good and the lights are in the upper left corner. The thing is that the width of this keyboard, along with it's standard old-school key layout, mean that an adult who is used to a full sized ergonomic keyboard will not want to use this. It's way too cramped and lots of RSI injuries are more likely due to the compression of the wrists in an unnatural/flat angle. Think of typing with your elbows touching. This is a great keyboard for kids and maybe a system in the corner you don't need to interact much with. Can't see this for use with a home entertainment system which is likely using wireless keyboard. At nice idea but limited market.

Works great for my small diy project cw keyboard. PS2 is a older style. For my older software

I wouldn't get this to use as a main keyboard for doing work on a computer, but as a nice compact keyboard for use with retro systems it's great. Good compatibility with PS/2 interface.

I don't need a number pad, my desk is small, and I need a keyboard to travel. This one fits the bill.

I own a PERIBOARD-106M and I am very happy with it, so I had very high hopes, however, I am not so happy with the 409WU. Maybe I got a lemon, but the enter and backspace keys produce a very loud clacky noise, very different to the rest of the keys. Being a rubber dome, I was expecting it to be consistently quiet but it's not. I am disappointed with the keyboard but will keep it due to how inexpensive and practical it is. I love a 75% keyboard that has all the "developer" keys to the right: "page up", "page down", "home", "end", "delete", "insert", "break" etc. which is not so common in this keyboard profile.

This item is very good stuff. I like blue color of LED and white keyboard. This keyboard has these,and stylish design.

I have had it for a year now and the keys are still working great...

Was really impressed to start with as quieter than the black version but already keys are not working if I use the shift function. Really quite disappointed as this was the perfect size for me! Poor quality unfortunately.

I needed an old PS/2 keyboard for a retro project so ordered this. It has a surprisingly good feel to it, especially for a budget board. Great bang for the buck.
