If you're expecting a hold like traditional gel or hair glue, this isn't it. With that being said, this product is great. I usually use just hair wax due to it being more pliable, and usually stay away from pomade because it's never thick enough for my hair.I gave this one a shot and it holds up pretty good. It's light enough to not feel like you're weighing down your hair. It also allows you to style your hair pretty easily too. Also, a little goes a long way. You don't need to cake this stuff on. The scent isn't half bad either. A big plus is that this is easy to wash out. You're not left with sticky or greasy hair after washing it out.I think my only gripe is that its a tiny bit greasy for my liking but overall, I'm happy with this and will continue to use this.

I've been using this as a substitute for their matte pomade. The natural shine is pretty nice and is has looser hold but easier to style. It also has a nice scent. Only downside is having to wash your hands a little more rigorously from the wax residuals, but soap and warm water makes it easy. I'm a fan of the overall quality and texture to my hair!

I ordered for my husband-he uses product infrequently but keeps on hand for the times he wants.We had a wedding last night and he used the Brickell Wax. It didn’t make his hair look wet, or brittle. It had a nice soft hold and didn’t leave a residue behind with combing through. This hair wax is simply awesome. I have been using it under various conditions and it holds my hair in place great. Its easy to apply and it last all day. I went to get a hair cut and was asked what i used in my hair because it smelt great. I have used it while working out and even through all the sweating i did i held my look. I have used it while at the beach to give me that messy look while paddle boarding and it lasted in and out of the water. Over all it is a great product and one my friends are now buying as I let them try it and they love it.
