POWERFUL Beautiful sounds
Let me start off by saying i purchased this as a starter shofar and wasnt even sure id be able to blow it, much less that it would have such a loud amazing sound. Especially for the size. But take my word for it, dont blow it in your neighborhood at night. LOL Definitely exceeds expectations and i love it. Didnt bother measuring it. The packaging was pretty basic and it did have somewhat of an odor. Nothing crazy (especially considering that its literally a piece of a dead animal). Letting it sit in soapy water (use dish soap) for a day and rubbing it with a towel will remove the residue of the sticker after you peel the top layer. Hope you guys enjoy this as much as I am

its a great mantel piece
I have been wanting to go to Jerusalem but the shutdown. So I bought this to try and make the bible and the time in history of Jesus come to life while reading scripture. It great it's polished and looks like a professional piece of art. Its hard to play/use/blow You need to use it like in band class if you have ever played the trumpet. Very cool way to bring Jerusalem and history to your mantel.

Worth the price and sounds great!
What a joy to hear in our home. After reading the reviews I thought it might be difficult to play, but with a couple of tries it was simple. My husband played trombone for a year or two in junior high. The first time he put it to his lips, he sounded the shofar perfectly! It was heaven. It is a very manageable size. No issues with shipping. And for the most part, there is no smell. I say that because as everyone tries to "play" the shofar, with repetitive attempts, moisture collects on the inside and it can start to smell like a barn. But to blow it once or twice, there generally is no smell. Now we blow the shofar before our bible class begins.

Nice !
Bought this for my 8 year old little Israelite. So he can practice and graduate to the bigger one. However the package says the bigger ones are easier to blow in so I might get a bigger one. However the packaging had Israel shipping labels so I guess it does come from the Land. The trumpet is nice and has a beautiful shine to it. I blew it nicely myself and the sound was awesome. It may take a few tries to blow it right but hey it’s all in the practice and the Love of The Most High. Qam Yasharahla!!!!!

Great little horn!
Great horn, I guess I thought it would be black like in the picture but mine came as a tan/grey mixture. What I got looks great and sounds great however!!

Beautiful craftsmanship, professional look
I was very impressed with the little plaque sticker that showed it's authenticity. The how to booklet was a bonus I hadn't anticipated. I bought it as a gift to my non-jewish mother and she was brought to tears at first sight. Thank you for reasonable prices and very quick turnaround.

my favorite shofar
easy to blow, feels smooth of the lips, very nicely polished. It was stinky new but so was my other one. I flushed it with hot water and 99% sodium percarbonate mixture then I let it dry and added a few drops of essential oil. Stink was gone! Now we are ready the New Year and the election battle!

Love my shofar
I was hesitant to buy a shofar because I don’t have strong lungs but a friend showed that if you hum into it, like a kazoo, it makes a satisfying sound. This shofar is just right for me and I am very happy with it.
