Thanks to a medication, I’ve got damaged enamel and my teeth are brittle and sensitive. I love my Sea Turtle brushes!! They’re priced the same as typical plastic brushes but they don’t shed microplastics into your mouth tissues. 😮‍💨 These brushes are gentle enough not to injure my gums, but they clean my teeth thoroughly; I use a fluoride free toothpaste with over 20% hydroxyapatite. Brush head is average to petite; I have a small mouth and it’s very comfortable for me to use. If you’re looking for a jumbo sized brush head maybe try another kind, but this one has an angle to the tip that lets me reach my molars better than I would with a bigger brush. The bamboo handle has a nice grip and light weight, plus I love how it looks in the bathroom. Just go for it if you’re considering the purchase, they’re good toothbrushes. ☺️🙌🏼

These bamboo toothbrushes are the real deal. All-natural, vegan, and eco-friendly — basically everything my inner jungle warrior could ask for. When I opened the box, I swear I heard a distant “AHHH-AHHH-AHHHHH!” echo through the bathroom. Tarzan himself would’ve been proud. The bristles are soft but effective — gentle on my gums yet tough on last night’s garlic bread. And the handle? Smooth, sturdy, and made from real bamboo. Every time I brush, I feel like I’m doing my part to save the rainforest and my molars. Bonus points for the compostable packaging. No plastic guilt here — just pure, leafy virtue. I imagine if Tarzan had dental hygiene (which, let’s be honest, he should), this is exactly what he’d use between vine swings. So if you want clean teeth, fresh breath, and the smug satisfaction of knowing you’re helping the planet — grab these. You’ll feel like the king (or queen) of the jungle, one brush at a time.

I had my doubts about this product, but I have been pleasantly surprised. I've been using one of these toothbrushes for about two months, and do not want to return to plastic. This bamboo toothbrush is effective, comfortable, and durable. Highly recommended.

I love it. Out of my 31 years, I’ve never used any bristles other than plastic. My teeth feel VERY clean after use. I do think my gums are a little bit sensitive from brushing but I believe it will pass. Also the entire handle is wood..which is strange. It’s the reason it’s not getting 5 stars. Having wet wood in my mouth is just not my favorite taste or texture. I wish that part of the toothbrush was more slippery feeling but I’m sure I’ll get use to it…lol

I LOVE these. I had been buying bamboo brushes for a while, but I really wanted my entire brush to be biodegradable. Finally, I found these, and they are easily my favorite toothbrush I've ever used. The bristles are soo gentle on the teeth and gums, but firm enough to remove plaque and buildup. The handles are a nice length (for adults), and the little grooves make them more comfortable to hold. The bristles are firmly planted and do not fall out while you're brushing. And of course, my favorite feature, they are completely biodegradable AND come in sustainable packaging. I will likely continue buying these for as long as they make them. Thank you so much for this great product!

Amazing option for sustainability and avoiding microplastics! Takes a few days to get used to the wood but bristles are nice and soft. Love that each toothbrush is numbered for organization. Warning though, let it dry in the open-air (not inside a mirror-cabinet) because it will mold!

I use the Turtle bamboo toothbrushes not only because they just feel good to use, but also because they are natural and not plastic ... plastic which ruins the earth!

These are great but they do have a habit of molding after some use.

I ordered his product for Christmas as a part of a vow to be more eco-friendly throughout the year, as bamboo toothbrushes can bio-degrade in a landfill instead of taking hundreds of years like plastic toothbrushes. The packing itself is eco-friendly, using plain cardboard and graphic ink. For about $10-12 you get 4 toothbrushes, enough to last an entire year. The brushes themselves are light-weight and easy-to-grasp, and the natural plant bristles are soft against your teeth. The head of the brush is on the smaller side which can be beneficial for folks with small mouths, teeth, or jaws. The only real issue I had with it was the grip. I have small arthritis hands, and could use a wider grip. That being said, it's a small inconvenience rather than a discomfort, and the small head makes up for it as I can get at my back teeth more easily. I definitely recommend this product for folks who don't need a bigger head or grip on their bamboo toothbrushes.

I've been using this for 2 weeks now, and it's showing significant signs of wear. The bristles are just so soft! Think baby toothbrush, and even softer, so they just squash out of shape easily. The head of the brush is larger than others I've used, but the wood is smooth and comfortable to use. I still can't figure out if the bristles are home comfortable or not. I wouldn't buy them again.

The bristles are very tough and the handle is not comfortable to hold as it has rough edges

Great brushes. Bristles are soft, which I prefer. The shape of the handle makes it easy to brush in a sweeping motion on your teeth. I’m finding the brushes last about 2.5 months before the bristles start to spread and fray.
