This is my Go-To Lube!
Perfect lube! Light, but not too sheer, long lasting, silky-smooth shifts, does not attract excess dirt, perfect for road biking! Over the course of many years of avid cycling (typically 4000-8000 mi/season), my years as a bike store manager or employee, as a ride leader for 3 different bike organizations and an organizer of independent week-long bicycle tours, I can tell you I've tried many different brands and types of chain lubes. Everything from wet lubes, Teflon, ceramic, wax, and all types of dry lubes. And I just cannot find a lube that performs as well as RNR Gold. I always keep a couple bottles around as I don't want to run out. I find it performs very well when you clean your drive train every 200-250 miles and apply 1 drop per link. Run your chain backwards for 30 seconds or so, then try as hard as you can to wipe off all the excess until your rag is "clean." Don't forget to "floss" your cogs and clean your pulleys and chainrings, too. If you do this you'll find your shifts are smoother, quieter and faster, and your drive train will last beyond their projected life. (Disclaimer: if your drive train is in need of a tune up and your chain is in need of replacement no amount of superior lube is going to make your shifts good! Get your bike to the shop for a tune up and possible replacement of parts first!) I have one bike with over 35000 miles and all the original drive train parts (Shimano DuraAce grupo, 2008). I retired the bike years ago, but still ride it occasionally when my current road bike is having a tune up. Still is a beautiful ride! I have to say, keeping the drive train clean and lubing with a quality lubricant like RNR Gold is the best long term maintenance you can do to keep your bike performing optimally! Happy trails!

RNR GOLD - Dry Lube For Clean Quiet Chain
This in my opinion is the best clean/dry lube available. It is hard to find except online.I have used it for years since I met the developer, Mark Patterson.Every-time I try a different Lube, I always return to RNR Gold.To use merely rotate chain and get it good and wet.Let it soak in, and then wipe clean with multiple rag wipes. This leaves your chain clean, shiny, and smooth.I run this always on my Fixed Gear, and it it smooth, quiet and clean. I wipe with a rag post-ride, and keep on going. I am not sure how long a treatment lasts, but unless I get really dirty, I re-apply every month, and wipe, wipe, wipe and then ride.I will put this lube up against any out-there, and I have tried most.CLEAN - DRY - LONG LASTING - EASY APPLY - AFFORDABLE - NO COMPETITION - BEST DRY LUBE FOR CLEAN SMOOTH RIDE!!!

Stuff works great and you can wipe most off to keep your chain from attracting grit
The instructions say to not be skimpy with it because it cleans as well as lubes. With the drip bottle you can apply a generous amount without going nuts, so it's not like you're wasting it. Do a thorough wipe-down (can't wipe it too much) and sure enough it stays pretty clean. I'm a happy camper.

Not refillable
This is one of the highest rated chain lubes and is my favorite. Bought this for convienience and also bought a 16oz version, but this is not easily refillable.

Wow! This is really good stuff.
I've been using White Lightening clean and epic lube, DuPont Teflon, and Tri Flow teflon, for twenty years. I like the self cleaning qualities of those lubes and the they all made my chains last, shift smooth, and run quiet. Lately I've been adding molybdenum and ptfe powder to the White Lightening clean with great results. After reading other's reviews I decided to buy a 4 oz bottle of RnR Gold. I didn't bother cleaning my chain before applying the RnR and followed the directions on the bottle. I let my bike sit overnight before riding it this morning. All I can say is WOW! My chain has never run more quietly and felt so smooth. My chain felt better than when it was new. Shifting was way more smooth and the chain just felt buttery.I'm really astounded at this lube. It goes on so thin that I didn't expect much. In fact, after applying it I thought I had just wasted 8 bucks and contaminated my chain with this watery lube. I really can't emphasize this enough, this lube rocks! Pardon the pun.I'm not sure how long it will last as my ride this morning was only about 10 miles. With the way the chain and drivetrain felt though I won't mind relaxing often with this stuff. It's that good.

The best chain lube I've ever used!
I discovered Rock N Roll Gold after listening to a VeloNews cycling podcast regarding drive train efficiency by a company called Friction Facts. Friction Facts performed a study of bicycle chain lubrication products and rated them for efficiency. Rock N Roll Gold was one of the highest rated. Friction Facts was subsequently purchased by Ceramic Speed. You can read the full report (and several relevant others) on CeramicSpeed.com - Inside Ceramic Speed. After cleaning my chain extremely well I applied Rock N Roll Gold and went for a test ride of 25 miles. There was a noticeable difference. I subsequently went on two other rides of longer distances and found no drop off in performance during these rides. My drive train shifts smoother and runs noticeably quieter. And the chain hardly gets dirty as compared to chain oil I was previously using. Rock N Roll is not an oil. You don't need to apply much. Try it, I think you'll like it. I'm a convert.
