I love Lamy Safari pens. I grade college papers in red ink and wanted to be able to use a fountain pen for grading without the hassle of an ink bottle or the waste of a disposable fountain pen. I am pleased with the color and how the cartridge ink flows so I will likely buy more once I use up this first box.

This is hard to differentiate from several other shades of red and orange offered by Lamy. It looks darker in the cartridge than on paper but it is a well saturated red .

I bought these on a whim to try and see if they would work in my Ooly Splendid foundation pen. And they did! Took a bit more force to click and break the seal of the cartridge, but they work wonderfully.

Perfectly priced with quick shipping to get my safari taking notes again. Very beautiful red and quick drying. Get some of these!

you should see what I wrote about the black ink. This stuff is way better than that, I mean it's red ink.

This is a great cartridge for what it is. It will never be better than a quality ink through a plunger, but for a quick and easy fill it is great! It dries quickly, and has a vibrant color.
