No more flea and tick medicines or collars for the pets!
This stuff is fantastic! I use it on all of our hiking clothes. We are avid mushroom hunters and foragers and it always keeps the bugs including mosquitoes, flies and ticks at bay. I also spray it on t-shirts for my dogs to wear. Let them dry and it works amazing for about 6 weeks. We never find a tick alive, and it also keeps the grass gnats from biting their bellies. I had an issue with using the topical flea treatments on one of my dogs as it was making her hair fall out and irritated skin. Ever since using this, she's 100% bug-free and no problems or issues with her skin!!! This stuff has been used by the military to treat clothing for decades. It's 100% safe when dry, as long as you're not an insect. Try and stay away from bees and pollinators if you're wearing clothing with this spray as it's a non-selective insecticide (it kills everything).

Fantastic product to protect your family from ticks
This stuff works great for Tick protection. I spray all my outdoor clothing and anything else that may be exposed to ticks (ie back pack, work gloves, kids strollers...). Additionally, I spray my dog's harness that he wears for walks. I also spray all our luggage before any trips to kill any bed bugs that you may encounter. Over the years I've been using this spray religiously spraying my stuff every 6 weeks and have not seen a tick.

Great price, effective product.
Bargain priced compared to similar products. Works well, great for coating clothing before going out to the woods. Also spray on my dogs. Far less concentrated than typical dog tick preventatives so I consider it safer. Poison to cats though. Been using for years.

For the most part
We have a small bedbug infestation due to bring in used clothing and furniture. We have battled with this for a year now. We have bedbug covers and keep our beds pulled away from the walls. They dont feed on us but we have two inside dogs that sleep on the couches and floors. Tried almost everything. From pesticides to steaming and ironing the carpet by hand. I bought this product to try on my carpet, curtains, couches and baseboards. I spotted an adult bug and sprayed it once to see if it worked. Bug did not run but was moving its legs. I came back an hour later to see if bug died and I reached up to touch it and that bug did not move. No life in it at all. When I first opened the sealed bottle, I took a smell of it to see how strong it was going to be for ventilation necessity. It had no pesticide odor to it at all. Infact it smelled like the water you get from a water hose. I began to wonder if I got ripped off. But no. It works. It states that its a water base. My dogs were kept in a different room and on the porch for just incase reasons. We never began to actually smell any aroma until we got down to 3/4 of the bottle in the house. Then it was just a light hint of some chemical. It did not effect my dogs but it says on the back to not to use it on or around cats or kittens but you can dogs. Which brings me to another subject. We also have been battling seasonal fleas on the dogs. I did not spray this product directly on my dogs but the fleas in the house seem to be unaffected by this product. The fleas arent bad but they are still around. As for this product and bedbugs, I say it works. Will order more if needed.

STOPS TICKS IN THEIR TRACKS
Same formula as other products and WAY cheaper. I spend a lot of time in the woods hunting and fishing and when I get home I never find a tick. Does what it says, kills and repels ticks and mosquitos. Ticks that travel across 10 inches of treated clothing will be killed, not just repelled. Buy it and use it, it works great. Also convenient as it lasts on clothes for multiple washings and at least 4 weeks.

Three Stars
This product temporary repels bugs, but does not control them for more than six hours...

Use it for ticks
I work in the woods daily. I treat my clothes with this stuff and I haven't had any issues with ticks. Sure they get on for about 15-20 seconds but then they frantically try to get off or away. If they stay too long they go into seizures. Definitely keep coming back for it.

As far as I can tell the effectiveness/longevity of the treatment on clothing and gear is identical but JT Eaton takes the cake
Switched over to the JT Eaton product a couple of years ago from the Sawyer version. As far as I can tell the effectiveness/longevity of the treatment on clothing and gear is identical but JT Eaton takes the cake because not only is it way cheaper but the sprayer is better and the 1 gallon size is just a lot more convenient. I basically take out a huge pile of my clothes and the kidsโ clothes and start spraying each spring once the first skeeters appear and then perhaps in the late summer I will freshen it up a little if I start getting bit again. For whatever reason if there is a mosquito alive in the square mile I am standing in, I will get bit. Before I hit on treating my clothes the 99% DEET stuff was what I had to use, the 5% stuff might as well have not been applied. Now I almost never get bit unless there are a ton of them around and a tiny amount of picaridin for exposed skin will see me safely through pretty bad swarms. But it has to be notably bad before I need any topicals. Our area has ticks but not tons, that said, I have not had a tick since I started treating my gear. Also, I love that this is safe for spraying on gear unlike DEET based products. And yes, it is odorless, colorless and utterly imperceptible (to humans) on whatever you spray it on (after dry). Yes it has a strong smell when wet. Update 8/20/18 - For me 1gal is enough to treat 20-25 pieces of adult clothing. You want to dampen the whole item but it doesn't need to drip. And a cheap pump (pressurized) garden sprayer is vastly easier to use than the hand sprayer. Just...use one for only this purpose instead of your one for ground clear. :)
