Kind of cheap looking

I love windchimes and the sound they make is so relaxing. I have a set out on my back deck and can hear them chiming from the living room. I like to curl up with a good book on the couch and the sound of the chime brings me peace. I seen this Asian Wind Chime and wanted it to add to my collection.At first glance this wind chime seemed dainty in nature. I will say that it held up well in a crazy thunder storm. I had this hanging out on my back deck in weather that produced 60 mile per hour winds and dime sized hail. I love the Asian inspired look of this wind chime with its wood and metal gong. It does not produce much of a sound in comparison to my other chime though. The middle wooden piece, surrounded by what looks like rubber, twists and turns around the gong without making much contact. I find this to be more of a visual piece. I decided to move this back inside and it is hanging in my bay window in the kitchen. There is a ceiling fan and central air vent nearby so ever now and then I get a chime.Although I am not impressed by the sound of this wind chime I do like it visually. I have it hanging in my kitchen as decor and a conversation piece. This item is also suitable for outside use as it has proven to hold up in weather.I recieved this item at a discount for the purpose of my review. All opinons are completely honest and 100% my own.

I purchased this wind chime to hang below the bedroom deck. We had a major problem with swifts making nest under the decks in our neighborhood. The only houses that were spared the ones with wind chimes and spinners.The box that is arrives in does remind me of items you find in the dollar or five dollar store. I wasn’t sure what to expect when opening it. The wind chime itself was very nice size for where I wanted to place it. The metal has a nice shine when the sun hits it. The string holding the chime together is very thin. The only time I have heard the wind chime make noise was with me holding it and gently moving it.It has been outside during a very windy storm and all I have seen it do is spin in circles. The piece of wood that is suppose to hit the chime is just laying against the wood while it spins. I feel more like I found a spinner than a chime.The way this piece is put together, I will be surprise if it last more than one summer. The string is very thin and I don’t think will stand the wide range of temperatures we get in Virginia. Along with the strong summer storms. Considering the price I think that is how long it is meant to last.I received this item at a discount for an honest review.

I love simplicity and this wind chime gives you that. It 's just the perfect element to add to the outside of your home. It can be used for both indoor or outdoor, but we use it right outside of our front door. It doesn't startle anyone and it has a nice design that we've received several complements on.

I purchase this wind chime for my back porch. It is a beautiful simplistic design with Asian accents. When the wind blows it has a gentle chiming which is quite relaxing. It is very easy to install. It is a very small sized chime. Overall the design is beautiful and fantastic. I received this product for a discounted rate for my unbiased opinion.
