What is the time it measures ( 3 minutes? 5?)

I just measured three timers together and all three came out to three minutes 30 seconds. I am told it varies depending on altitude and weather so the best thing to do is to measure it when you first get it. I am also told that when you first get it you should run it a couple times because these have been sitting in the shop in one direction. I hope this helps, Doug
