Game Changer!
This product makes sewing and piecing so much easier. Sprays well and there is little smell. If you are quilt piecing or cutting out a pattern, I just sprayed a little and the pattern stayed put. My patterns are always PDF downloads from the computer and printed on regular copy paper so the paper isn't thin. I am not sure how a pattern from the major pattern companies would work as that paper is super thin so can't answer that.I recommend to make your sewing projects easier.

Great for quilting
Use 505 for all my quilts when making my quilt sandwich. Easy to readjust the fabric if needed. Don’t have to worry about sewing over pins.

First time user, but definitely will use again
I've basted quilts with thread and pins but decided to try this.So glad I did. Super easy to use and provides the best and most uniform basting ever. Adhesion lasts through all my manhandling of the project while hand quilting, too. And no sticky residue or any issues with the needles. Will definitely use this product from now on. Totally worth the money.

Time saver
Works great for basting fabric and batting together. Small spray zone, so it doesn’t fly all over the workspace. No smell.

Not a Quilter!!!
Let me start by saying, I'm not a quilter, but rather a machine embroiderer. I bought this product to embroider some items too small to be hooped and it worked great. So why the poor reviews? The can clearly states to spray the stabilizer, not the fabric. On their website it states that there is no transfer between fabrics...therefor it stays where you spray it. In a quilt you wouldn't notice if it didn't all wash away, on the back of a pot holder, you do. Spray the stabilizer! and remove as much of the stabilizer as you can before washing. Yes it works on water soluble, but still remove as much as you can to be safe. You do Not have to dry clean, it Can be dry cleaned...big difference.

Game changer
Took a chance after reading all the great reviews on my quilting sites. What a game changer. I probably used more than I needed, but since this quilt was a gift and I had never used the 505 before, I wanted to make sure it stayed put. It did! I did pin around the edges just to be extra careful, but it probably wasn't necessary. Let dry overnight before I quilted and nothing shifted. No more pins for me! There is probably enough to do two full sized quilts in each can.
