AcuRite 13.5” Large Digital Indoor Wall Clock with Intelli-Time Technology (75173M)

I purchased this clock to use in my water fitness class. I needed a digital clock with large numbers and with a visible second count. The seconds made it easier when cueing/timing exercises without having to internally count. This clock came with built in legs so that it was upright on the pool deck. I have used it in other fitness classes also for cueing/timing exercises. Unfortunately, there was a malfunction in the clock (black splotches on the screen) that rendered it useless. I had intended to purchase the same clock from Amazon, as it is an excellent clock. I realized that the clock was under warranty. I submitted the necessary information (a picture and a copy of my receipt) to AcuRite. I honestly did not think that this was under warranty. I was surprised when I received 2 emails from AcuRite informing me that I could check the status of my request and the 2nd one telling me my clock was on its way. The clock is excellent and so is the customer service from AcuRite

After reading the reviews I was a bit concerned about having to change batteries every month, but I purchased at the end of Nov 2022 and was able to return until Jan 31, 2023 due to Amazon’s holiday return policy. I’m happy to report the clock is operating just fine after 2 months with the same basic rechargeable batteries (nothing special and my rechargeable batteries are almost 4 years old now). The clock seems to lose about 1 minute per month, as I am now two minutes slower (based on my cell phones time) from when I set it. I can live with that and it will get reset when I change the batteries in a few months. Very happy with the purchase.

Bought this for my exercise room. I didn't want bells and whistles (date, temperature, humidity, and all that extra stuff)--just a clock that told time (what a concept!) in hours, minutes, and seconds. The large dial is easy to read from anywhere in the room; the seconds help when timing certain exercises. A good product.

So glad that you had a large digital clock so that we could use it for our classrooms. Just want we needed.

In the modern world, how does a digital clock lose time? Amazingly, I set it right and within weeks the time is off, too slow. It is never right on. If you prefer to be late, this is the clock for you.

Time is not too accurate. Takes weeks to update. Not easy to read because of the gray color of the numbers

Great clock originally, but seems to need frequent battery changes. Not easy to read the numbers sometimes.

Purchased because I needed a digital clock with seconds display that was easy to ready from across the room and this does just what I need it to do!

Large numbers in compact frame - good for egg timing in the kitchen
