Installed 7 months, I've had water ingress on both units. Installed on the aft underside of a catamaran and 5,000NM with following seas, so a rough environment, but I would have expected them to last longer.

Great lights, I had been eyeballing these for a while and had a difficult time coming to terms with spending the money on them. I am so glad I did! These are super bright and super cool at night. Definitely gives the boat a unique appearance at night while cruising across the lake of bay. Make sure you use waterproof connections, I found my first set of non water proof connections corroded quickly causing the lights to not work. I originally thought that a light went out but after checking the connection realized to had corroded severely. I trimmed the wire back and installed water proof connections and have not had any problems since. When I say they corroded quickly, I mean less than 30 days the light would not turn on. Everything works great now that I changed the connections.

These lights are amazing!! Super bright as you can see by the picture I took during the day! Can’t wait to get them in the water this year. These things are definitely built to last with a solid brass heavy duty construction. The install was fairly simple and very small Hull penetrations. The only issue I ran across was some ground loop feedback that caused a hum in the speakers when I had the LEDs on with the speakers. This was easily solved by placing a noise canceling device in series with each LED. They were only about $12 each on amazon so great solution! These lights are a bit expensive but if they are anything like what I see during the day, then the night rides will be epic!

Great lights for an evening cruise. Easy to wire, easy to control. Small fish are attached to the light when sitting still in the water. These lights are not cheap but they are worth it. Nothing like a night coming off the sandbar to a well light boat.

25' Chris Craft Launch, Dale Hollow Lake, TN. These lights are expensive, but they light up the water behind your boat. I ran mine off our aux battery for 2-3 hours with the fridge, radio, and courtesy lights going. I always had enough power after nights on the lake. When docked up there is an oval of 20 feet X 20 feet behind the boat that is illuminated. I screwed up and didn't realize how high above the water line my boat rests so our lights are maybe 4-5 inches below the water line. Make sure you go deep enough below the water line, I think it's 8 inches minimum. They still look cool but my wake doesn't get that "illumination" like i had on the last boat with lights. Oh well. Still cool. Lights are great after one trip out. Pictures definitely don't do them justice. Pics probably capture half of the illumination that they actually put out.
