Grehge 51mm 2 in 1 Leveler & Tamper, Espresso Distribution Tool, Adjustable Depth Both Sides

Fantastic product. If you use a naked portafilter like I do, you can see the improvement straightaway. The coffee comes through the basket evenly which I struggled to do without the tool. The tamper (and distributor) height can be adjusted to enable you to tamp consistently. The product is heavier than it looks and feels solid. I’m not sure what pricier distributors offer in addition to what this already does. But for an amateur home barista like me with just one patron (me), it seems great.

This is probably the best coffee leveller/tamper I had so far. It looks great, it is sturdy and heavy, it is easy to adjust the levelling and tamping depth and does a fantastic job at both functions. It's also competitively priced compared to other similar products. What more do you want?

Its pretty good at distributing the coffee but I found it dosnt reach into the portafilter enough so if I have anything under 14.5g of coffee it wont do anything so just have to tamper instead (with a different tamper) as the built in tamper also wont reach. Apart from those issues it feels like a well made, weighted quality coffee gadget.

I am a beginner by all accounts but have been struggling to get a consistent extraction with my espresso even after buying a relatively expensive grinder (DF54). This has made the task much easier. I have stopped using the tamper altogether and just rely on this now. Finally a good 1:2 ratio in 30 seconds.

Very good quality and heavy

Good weightyness, adjustable size, easy to use. Don’t use the tamper side much but the side you spin is great. Allows you to create a level puck as the tool sits on the rim of the basket.

Tamper and distrubuted once you set it up it's a great little tool

The leveller is the main reason I bought it, and it works. I wish it was an adjustable depth, since I don’t always fill up the basket with coffee. The tamper side is more difficult to use, unless you fill up the basket to full.
