simple. The leak is FIXED
Love that this arrives at your door the next day so you can fix it yourself. I purchased a plumbing wrench too and fixed the whole mess under the sink. Everything that was done prior was all wrong, lopsided, leaking.....The drain is now leak free and I am 100% satisfied. You MUST use the included paper washer. Put the rubber washer on first, then the paper, then the nut. If you put it on backwards, the nut will twist and buckle the rubber ring and you will have a leak. I know this from personal experience watching a friend do this backwards what will happen. Some people will just never read instructions, no matter how simple you make them. Even if it is only pictures.I need to add my opinion here..... I did use a "foam" washer instead of plumber's putty between the sink and the drain basket. I can't tell you how impressed and pleased I am with the results. If you are unsure, try it. I hate putty and it was worth it to use the "foam" seal instead as it was extremely easy and nothing could be neater. It is sealed. For the people knocking the foam that it is not rubber, it is thin, I don't trust it, It is not what I expected or ordered, it looked different........ you have wasted other people's time and your own time as well. It does seal correctly and is the easiest product I have ever used. The seal is still holding after 3" of water overnight.IF my opinion changes about this, I WILL update this.

Useful
They're sink seals that do what they're designed for.

All I needed was the nut
I found the rubber washer to be too thin for my application. The paper washer was useless. The instructions were puzzling. However, the nut was nicely made, a perfect fit, and made the kit worth the price for me.

As advertised, good quality
Nothing wrong with it just not much room for exceptionalism.
