Mylee 5 in 1 Builder Base Strengthening Gel 15ml (Light Pink)

This builder base gel works well if you’re looking to add a bit of strength to natural nails. It applies smoothly and cures well under a UV/LED lamp. The consistency is good – not too runny but still easy to work with. It seems to help nails feel stronger and gives a nice base for gel polish. The bottle size is fairly small, but a little goes a long way so it should last a while with normal use. Overall a good product if you want a strengthening base coat for gel manicures.

Gorgeous nail polish with a great, thick consistency. Compared to other BIAB and gel polishes I’ve tried, this one lasts noticeably longer. The neutral shade with the subtle glitter gives a very clean, polished, and mature look. It’s versatile enough to wear all the time and works with everything. This has definitely become my go-to colour — I’m obsessed!

This was my first time using builder gel, I've always been an acrylic girl from the age of 12, now I'm nearly 30 I thought I should start steering away from acrylics and to try and strengthen my natural nails. I was a little anxious as I've never used builder gel before, nor have I used gel colour but there's a first for everything! It did take me most of the day to master the technique but once I had done one hand, the 2nd hand didn't take too long. The colour is perfect if you want to paint over it, and also a perfect colour on its own if you prefer the natural look. The coverage is perfect, can't fault it at all. It dries under the lamp in 90s, which I found surprising as its a thick consistence. Once they're dried and you've wiped off the stickiness, I filed the tops ready to paint over with a gel colour. I did my nails at the start of August, and it's now the 17th September, I've had no chipping, no nail breakage at all, which I was really surprised by, I always got acrylics due to my health causing weak nails, even with my feed I still have the worst nails, but I was pleasantly surprised at how strong they are. The tips of my nails would always bend but I can whole heartedly say the tips of my nails don't budge, they're solid as a rock. Incredibly happy with the product, and I've attached images of when I first did my nails, and then 4 weeks of re growth with no chipping. This was my first time so please excuse the unprofessional painting I've done, practice makes perfect I guess. The main thing is, it's absolutely brilliant and I can't recommend it enough!! Just as a side note, I didn't use mylee gel polish, that was from beetles.

Love this product, easy to use, fairly thick and good coverage. Goes on easily and lasts a really good time! Colour was great for my skin tone - good range of colours. Good value and left no residue so was not sticky at all!

According to their website their products no longer contain hema. However - since it’s impossible to know how old the stock we are buying from Amazon is, it’s possible that their old stock does contain hema since they use the term “no longer contains”. I’ve been doing my nails at home since gel nails were first a thing back in the mid 2000s & never had an issue before. Then around 6 weeks ago, I bought their base & top coat, builder gel & poly gel. Within 2 weeks I noticed a discolouration of one of my nails but didn’t pay much attention as I thought it was just a white mark like we all get. Then imagine my horror when I came to take my polish off for a new application to find all my nails had lifted off the nail bed. The only thing I’ve changed is to Mylee from another brand & this happened straight away it seems (albeit I didn’t realise in order to react quick enough before the damage was well & truly done). So, whilst I cannot prove this product is the cause, all the evidence is pointing that way. Therefore if you have any known issues with hema or you notice ANY discolouration of your nails when using this product, remove it immediately before you end up losing your nails like I have. I’m mortified as I had beautiful long nails that were mine & not extensions & now they are receding every day to the point I’m expecting them to fall off in the next week or so. It’s a shame as the product itself seemed fine but now I can’t risk using it again after this reaction.

I’ve never used gel polish before as I’d been using dip powders which take a really long time to do so wanted to have a go with the gels if I’m short on time. Bought the builder gel as I have weak nails. I didn’t watch any videos just followed the instructions. Subsequently the nails are not as good as they could be, but I love the results. You can build up the layers so keep them nice and thin. Also this gel is self levelling, I found this out after I did the nails 🤣 I’m very happy with this gel. This is the blush colour with the heart confetti top coat. Well worth buying.

Used this for years never any issues. Purchased two bottle recently, super pigmented and this one. Both bottle extremely thick and gloopy have to rest the bottle in boiling water to make it near usable. Never had retention issues until these new bottles, now peel off within a matter of days. Seems to dry very hard, was more flexible before so adhered to nail plate better. Seems to be reformulation? Won’t be purchasing again, very disappointed

Leider sind meine Naturnägel mit dem alter nicht mehr so stabil wie früher. Mittlerweile sind sie brüchiger und reißen schon mal ein. Daher bin ich auf diesen Lack gestoßen. Ich trage immer 2 Schichten nacheinander auf und so sind meine Nägel wieder wunderschön lang und widerstandsfähig geworden. Natürlich muss man sich an die genaue Verarbeitung incl. Cleaner zwischen den Schritten halten. Aber dann klappt es wirklich super!! Bestelle ich immer wieder gerne.

Ho acquistato questo Gel Costruttore 5-in-1 della Mylee con grandi aspettative, spinta dalle ottime recensioni, e l'ho voluto testare subito, appena arrivato. Il colore è un rosa lattiginoso, delicatissimo ed estremamente elegante. È la tonalità perfetta per un effetto "unghie sane", per una base French o semplicemente da portare da solo con un top coat lucido per un look nude super pulito e professionale. Non è troppo coprente, il che permette di sfumarlo benissimo vicino alle cuticole senza creare stacchi netti antiestetici. Consistenza e Applicazione Essendo un gel costruttore in boccetta (con il suo pennellino integrato), la consistenza è logicamente più densa rispetto a un normale smalto semipermanente. Il punto di forza: Una volta posizionato sull'unghia, basta aspettare pochissimi secondi e il prodotto si distribuisce da solo, riempiendo avvallamenti o rigature dell'unghia naturale. Per chi è alle prime armi, la densità potrebbe richiedere un attimo di manualità. Se fa caldo, il gel tende a fluidificarsi un po', quindi consiglio di polimerizzare un dito alla volta in lampada UV/LED per evitare che coli nei bordi.
