Does this great marque justice!

This book is an excellent overview of the many times Porsche has run the event - in the very early years, just after the war, the started and have run every event since. Manufactures come and go at that event but Porsche and Ferrari have stuck with it and amassed impressive results. When you think of buying a sports car, no matter its dollar value, ask yourself, how many times has this manufacture entered and won Le Mans, multiple times? Damn few. Company's talk the talk but Porsche has stepped to the plate year after year and can walk the walk. Impressive by any measure.

An excellent one volume precis particularly for the car modeller. Numerous photos. Follows Porsche racing teams at Le Mans year by year, but due to its strict format, one needs to consult other publications for greater detail on individual models. Still the best one volume summary of the Le Mans Porsches to date!

Comme on dit cet ouvrage est une somme !! Pour passionné de Porsche bien sûr !! J'y retrouve des modèles qui m'ont fait rêver. Peut aussi servir à ceux qui font du modelisme automobile.....

This book is a real must have for all Porsche addicted. Tons of picture and useful informations for all those who appreciate the wonderful epopee of the Porsche in Le Mans 24 Hours.Very well written, great pictures, and rich in informations. Definitely recommended!
