Occidental Leather OxyLights 3 Pouch

Great bag great product!!!

If you're in any type of construction trade do yourself a favor and get a set of occidental bags. I bought the 7 pocket framers but was slightly unhappy with the amount of fastener space. So I bit the bullet ordered the 4 pouch fastener bag for the left side and moved the standard 3 pouch bag to the rear. We do the whole construction process, the only things we sub out are the concrete, electrical and the plumbing so I need a wide variety of fasteners and tools on hand at all times. I was slightly worried about the weight of all that leather, but with their 3" belt and the way leather molds to your body it disperses the load so evenly that I don't even notice I'm wearing bags. Hands down the best quality bags you can buy. 2019 update, bags are still holding up strong, probably own these for life, once a month empty them out and rub a little neatsfoot oil on them and they look great again. Might have to send them in to oxidental in a couple years and get the corners of a couple pouches reinforced, shingles are hard on them lol

Well balanced hoods clamps and misc tools well with its shape. The screw pouches are massive in each one has enough room to get all your k uckles In with no friction. I was amazed how fast I addapted to the layout. I hate breaking in a new pouch. My screw pouch was 13+years old before i got this rig. These are for life. Ive had these in my amazon cart for years looked at them when I upgraded my tool pouch five years ago. Shpupd of just got them. They easily held two R11 clamps 2 R6 clamps screq driver pliars well orgaized with room for much more. I cluld easily fit 4 11 clamps and still 4-6 R6's and everything in between. It also fits my pop river gun well. Has more pouches and tool spots than I honestly even know how to use. Very good framers rig but would be a great machanics rig any trade really. Not to many scre driver spots though and pencil slots are more limited than I like. But that's pretty small potatos.

I'm a Union Carpenter local 445 for 22 years. I Have gone threw a tool pouch or 2. I've been on the fence about buying this set-up. $106.00 for one side of pouches is kinda of putting. But I'm glad I decided to take the chance. The quality difference is easy to see. From the thickness and grain of the leather, to the rivets and washers, and the thread used to stitch it all together there is no comparison. I get 2 maybe 3 years out of the ones you can buy at Home Depot or Lowe's then the leather rips or they just fall apart, I don't see that being a problem with these Occidental leather pouches. The thickness of the leather where your belt goes through is at least three times thicker then the store-bought ones. The rivets are twice the size, and the thread is twice as thick. For years I've heard guys talking about them, and how they will be the last set of pouches you'll ever have to buy. Well from what I see it's the truth. They got delivered 2 days ahead of the date I was told, which was a nice surprise. There is no chance to take with these, you will be happy you decided to spend the money on a quality handmade U.S.A. Product.

This is a solid fastener bag. Occidental has the most innovated square holder. It took a month or so to train the leather to get the square to just fall right in without looking. The very bottom bag stretches out quite a bit and if you put screws in it will toss them when your bag moves around. I put my little tip box in there and it seems to stay. I use the top chalk box pocket for my secondary fasteners instead. I have rubbed two little holes in the last year in it and i am questioning the durability. That is why I gave it a 4 star.

Very comfortable once you break it in, holds plenty of nails/screws of various sizes, nice spot for knife, pencils and a couple other handy tools.

Good quality apron and still in use and used daily
