I sketch to relax and bought this set 2 years ago. Love it because it opens up and all my supplies are in front of me, including an easel. I like being able to quickly glance between the page and the available colors as I work. I do not have to step around, bend around, turn around, or need a table to set out any of my supplies. I do not need additional space to accommodate my easel. I discovered it is heavy enough to be stable while sitting in my bed and the easel presents at the perfect height. I fired up a Regency romance on Audible and sketched away for a few hours. It was such a great afternoon, I wanted to leave a review to share my experience with this set. I use it the most of my options. If you are considering purchasing something in one of these wooden box/sketch box styles, pay attention to the design and function of the case and easel. Consider if it will be used indoor, outdoor or both. Art supplies can be upgraded. Wood can be painted and repaired. It arrived in perfect condition and I upgraded the pencils. The quality of the supplies is fine for starting out. If you are looking for a starter or all in one kit, this has everything you need but the paper and canvas. You will get a lot of mileage out of this kit as you learn the style and supplies you prefer. I highly recommend.

Whether you are a kid or an aspiring artist, this set is wonderful. It contains an array of supplies from paint and pencils to pads of paper. I am interested in becoming an artist. This requires lots of practice. I don't want to be using top-of-the-line materials or supplies for my practice sessions. I want to save my best materials for finished projects. This set allows me to do this and explore other things, (like acrylics and pastels, that I've never tried before) without the deep investment. Also, this set comes in a very nice, well-made box with built in easel. Once these supplies have been used up, I can convert this box to an outdoor (plein aire) travel kit as it comes with a very nice attached handle. My only complaint is that the box isn't sealed with a varnish or formica veneer. Other than this, I can highly recommend this art set for anyone interested in art. 👌 😃

We bought this as a graduate gift for our already-gifted granddaughter, a small reward for her completing her master's degree while working a 50-hour-a-week management job ... she has always wanted to be an artist, if only in her off time, and this is a splendid starter rig for an aspiring artist ... easy to use, plenty of stuff to experiment in different mediums ... a very nice product at a very nice price

I ordered this last week & when I opened it, a knob on it was broken. I returned it & requested a new one be shipped to me. The new one was delivered inna very timely manner & was even properly packaged to prevent any damage. This set is going to be awesome and I know my cousin is going to love it. It’s a great gift for the price it came for & has A LOT to offer for her creative mind. She is going to love it!! It’s also not heavy at all so she can bring it wherever she wants to.

This is a great gift set for kids. It looks lovely and comes with a lot of stuff. My son was thrilled. The box is pretty sturdy, the inserts are thin plastic but work well. We've tried everything and it all works. I doubt it's professional grade anything (I know nothing about art materials) but they work great for my son. We're really please with this overall.

This is an 'okay' artist kit with easel. The supplies are pretty generic, so you get what you pay for on them. The case was the reason for the purchase. The top and bottom of the case are smooth and varnished. However, all other edges are rough. Watch out for splinters. We will have to sand these down. The only option provided is to return....replacement will not fix the issue.

Objeto para colecionadores. Amei o display, só a madeira que está sem finalização. Maleta está no ponto para ser pintada. Acho que um decoupage ficará linda.
