Does the job perfectly
Will copy from Hdmi with no signal stripping needed to overcome protection. The USB socket that you plug your hdd or pen drive into is a little sloppy, you need a nice, tight fitting plug.Overall, a good product that does what it says. For me, it was worth the price. It's much better than the cheaper alternatives

Great little recorder
I would have given it 5 stars if it had an internal memory. But once you remember to plug SD/SSD into the USB socket it is ready to record straight away.

A fantastic bit of kit for saving your video projects for posterity.
I was a little hesitant to buy this as it's not exactly cheap. But after almost 12 months use, I can say that it works really well and has been a good investment. It's quite straight forward to use right out of the box although I'd definitely recommend seeking out and reading the instructions as some of the menu option are a little unclear. However, once you've figured your way around it, the quality of the product shines through. The remote control is a little cheap feeling and the buttons can need a certain degree of firmness when pressing down to operate them, it's not a big issue though.I haven't tried using the editing software as I haven't had any need to. However, It's something I'm going to look into and I expect it will be just as satisfying as the recorder hardware. A great buy!

What a big mistake Not worth the money.
Brought thr uhd pro thinking that it was a premium product for recording from a fire stick. Yes it record's faultlessly on to a usb from the amazon fire stick. The picture quality looks good and that is where the praise ends. The recordings play OK through the uhd pro, but the audio is out of sync when played though a PC or TV usb. I have used a brand new Kingston 128gb stick and still the same issue. When the recordings are selected it takes an age for them to load and appear on screen. The recordings start from the bottom and work with the latest recording at the top of the list. So while you are watching your recording and you select the next file by pressing next on the remote it goes down the list instead of up.It would be nice if you did not have to keep setting up the date/ time every time the power is turned off and the event timer is a joke. The lack of other video codecs that could have been supplied in the unit when you did not require uhd for a smaller file size. The remote needs to be pointed straight at the unit for it to work and comes without batteries. So would I recommend the Cloner Alliance uhd pro to buy. HELL NO it is not worth a third of the asking price and feels outdated and cheap, just brightened up with lights.

Cloner alliance uhd pro
A good device which allows you to do many things. Very reliable and easy to use however I would like to see it capable of using larger hdd sizes and it does affect picture levels for example gamma etc are altered but overall very good.
