These are cute shoes, my only complaint is that they are quite a bit narrower than rykas usually are through the toe box...I live in Rykas because I spend 12+ hours on my feet and I love a roomy toe box that doesn't rub my poor little pinky toe too death. These are acceptable in that area, but just barely. If you have fallen in love with this brand, as I have, because you have wider feet, this probably isn't the best style choice. Still a great shoe, just not quite as roomy.

MY NEW "GO TO" SHOES FOR EVERYWHERE I GO!
Okay, so let me start by saying I am 65 years old and have NEVER been a "tennis/gym shoe" woman! Never liked them, was not comfortable in them, couldn't see where all the "hubbub" was coming from. Then I retired and found out that with my Medicare Supplement insurance I qualified for free membership to certain gyms in my area so I took advantage and joined our local YMCA. Of course, I needed some kind of workout shoe so off to searching online and reviewing various brands and found this shoe.I have a crooked spine, back problems, weak knees and ankles and pretty much every "ritis" out there - Arthur, Osteo, a bit of Rheumatoid and Osteoporosis. I have spent quite a bit of money on comfort shoes, walking shoes and other "fancy" named shoes they have out there for people like myself and thought they were quite comfortable.Based on the reviews from both women like me and various exercise class instructors - and the bargain price at the time (less than $40) - I decided to give the Ryka Womens Dynamic Low Black/Coral/Rose/Atomic Orange Cross Training shoes a try and BOY AM I EVER GLAD I DID! It didn't take but that first time wearing of them to decide these were going to be my new "go to" shoes for EVERYTHING! I wore them to and in my Silver Sneakers class that first day and then on to the store where I walked around for at least another hour, bending and reaching and putting stuff in my cart and I realized afterwards that I was not hurting like I normally am after shopping. They were comfortable from the moment I put them on and I didn't have to worry about breaking them in!These shoes are so comfortable and fit perfectly (I wear anywhere from a 7 to an 8 but decided to go with an 8.5 to give me some room). I can exercise, go shopping, walking or whatever and am not in as much pain as I normally would be with any of my various expensive comfort shoes. I also love the toe box as I hate shoes that have the tight toe boxes.- plenty of moving room there!I can't say enough good about these shoes and would give them more stars if I could! just told my husband last night that I want to get another pair! My only complaint is I wish they came in more traditional dark colors such as charcoal, browns or navy.

NOT FOR ABNORMAL FEET
Shoes are a great color and price, but not too happy with the construction. I have had these now for a couple of months - the inside of the heel I have worn out ( there is a hole on the inside, my heels are pointy) and there isn't that much support for running in the arch and for toes. I injured the metatarsal area of both feet and find that this shoe doesn't have enough padding, so when I walk or run it causes pain. Am disappointed, but realize that my feet are not normal. I thought it was worth a try, as they look cute and colorful. FYI - I run/walk 6 miles a day, 6 days a week.

Love the look, but too small
I ordered the 11, per the size chart. My toes are crammed all the way to the end. This is rather depressing, since they don't make a larger size, and I really like the look of the shoe. I also found shipping to be extremely slow. It took 4 days for my order to even be processed. What this means is that I now have to return these, wait for a refund, order new and wait another 10 days for delivery...and I'm paying for a gym membership that I can't use because my old shoes fell apart.

Most supportive arch in a flexible shoe for dance
I currently own 7 pairs of Ryka shoes. I began with the Transpire,. I loved the support in the arch. I am still wearing 2 pairs of them. I have plantar fasicitits and they support my feet better than the orthotics that were prescribed for me. Because my feet swell at times, I have some that are 1/2 size up. One of the things I have noticed is that the shoe (and sock) have to be a good fit for support. Too much shoe or sock padding in the ball and heel can prevent me from feeling arch support. These shoes are designed so that you can feel the floor and turn on the ball of your foot.If you look at the bottom of the insole, you can see that. I wear them for Zumba (3-4 times/week) and keep a pair at work for a lunchtime stroll, but would not wear them for walking over a mile. Because of my foot problems, I cannot wear shoes with significant wear, but I am still using a pair of Transpires that are 2 years old. These are good shoes, with the best sole for dancing that I have found. Even though there were problems with the trim coming off, I have to say Transpire are a little better. As they have been discontinued, Dynamic are what I will continue to buy.

Not my favourite shoe for any type of workout
Not my favourite shoe for any type of workout. Maybe this would be okay for yoga? I find after an hour my feet start to hurt in the arch area. Quite honestly I have never had this happen before except when my shoes reach their "expiry" date. I go through 2-3 pairs of athletic shoes every year. I was disappointed in this purchase and in fact I do not use these shoes except when I am running errands. They are fine for walking. As for sizing, it all fits as I would expect it to. Would not purchase Ryka again.

Lacking some cushioning, but otherwise I love these shoes!
I purchased these Ryka shoes to wear at the gym. I chose Ryka because I have a pair of slip on Ryka Desires that I am crazy about. The Dynamic has the same great fit (narrower heel, nice toe box width, glove type fit around the sides and top of the foot- like a hug for my foot!), but Dynamic lacks the cushioning of the Desire. If not for that, these would get 5 stars. I also love the blue/purple color! It gives me a boost for my workout. I would definitely recommend these for cross training, but for a heavy running program, probably not your best choice.
