Got this for my hubby after he sent a few video's to me a few times. Over all he is very happy with it. He has used it about three times dry. I feel it is not a close shave as the video's showed but it does the job. He likes that he can do the shaving on his own and not have to ask for help. Love the handle and how easy it is to use. I love that it hold the hair and does not make a mess. On the other hand it hold the hair and does not give you any warning that it needs emptied. He told me he will try it wet to see if that give it the closer shave, but as of now he has not. Don't get me wrong it is a close shave, just not the baby butt soft shave.

This is a great shaver that I purchased specifically to shave my head daily. I’ve found it works well with or without cream or any lubricant. I’ve experienced no post shave irritation or lesions from the blades. While the weight of the product is a little light, more substantial materials might render it more sturdy. Opening the flaps to clean the blades could be easier if the folding covers had tabs for gripping. It’s very easy to use, the shave is close and smooth and it charges quickly and holds the charges for days. The included attachments have proven convenient. Great product, would purchase again. Great bargain considering some of the other head shavers are three times the price of this shaver.

The product does a nice job, and its contouring capability is definitely a very nice feature. The shave seems pretty even, but it is not as close as a razor. It also does a nice job of containing the shaved hair, which was also an advertised advantage.What I don't like - The advertisement that resulted in my purchasing this product was to be able to do my back. Actually, my wife does it for me because I can't reach across my entire back. I do not shave my head. So the hair that I am shaving on my back is not a single day's growth. The hair might be closer to 1/8"-1/4" long. While the product is very capable and does a nice job cutting that length of hair, the cleanability of the product for that condition is really horrible. It does not give you good access to the blades if you need to remove hair of the length I am speaking of. While the cutting only took a few minutes, I put in a good 45 minutes plus trying to clean the hairs from the blades. Even after that time, I could not get all the hair out. So, for my purposes, if I rate this product on cleanability for how I had purchased it for use, I would not even rate it one star.I do not want to shave my back daily to avoid this. If you shave every day, this design would clean up just fine. If you shave every 2-3 weeks, and like a clean razor, each time you shave, you will be disappointed like me. I have not tried any of the attachments yet. Right now, I would recommend for frequent use, would not recommend for less than frequent use, but that stems from the cleanability factor.

Shaver was great while it lasted. Shave quality was good.Two months of using and now the shaver is hard to turn off. The power button doesn’t always work. When it does finally turn off, it will the. randomly turn on by itself and won’t turn off until battery dies.Edit: Freebird reached out to me after I posted my review about the shaver not turning off and/or randomly turning to on. They replaced the shaver with a new. They now have a customer for life. Glad to see a company that stands behind its product.So good to have an electric shaver again.

I have had two of these and when they work, they do a good job. After a few months, the first unit would just start running on its own and could not be turned off. I contacted the company and they sent a second on, and that one did the same thing a few days ago. I started a ticket, but have heard nothing. I had to put it out in the garage to let it run down. I plugged it in this morning and it will take a charge, but will not run. The support site is broken and the link returns a 404 error. The live support link also does not work.

It works, but its nothing special. i used it to shave some of my body before getting a tattoo, im by no means a woolie mammoth but im not a hairless cat either. it shaved the area well, no complaints there. i opened it up to try and clean it, and its just as much as a PITA as others like it. the rotating blade shavers all usually have the issue of pulling some hair, so i expected that but i still dont like it.it is extremely easy to use as a plus, turn it on and rub/go over desired area.my recommendation? in all honesty, go with Manscaped's trimmer/shaver, in your netherregion its extremely nice and will work just as well on the body. i purchased this freebird one to hopefully avoid the need to put a towel down for clean up. it may be good for shaving the head, i cannot speak on that but for body/other areas there are better options

This shaver is a great purchase. I just recently shaved my head, and was in need of a good electric shaver. I went to the internet to see what was the top shavers, and I chose Freebird pro. I got it today and it’s so amazing that I had to write this review. If you’re looking for a close shave, I recommend this shaver. Fast, quiet, easy to use and clean.
