1. Don't bother with other (ie cheap) brands* - just get Rawlplugs and you'll get the fixing in first time and it'll hold.2. I fing brown Rawlplugs to be the most versatile, the reds can only take up to a no.4 screw, blues feel like overkill in most cases.3. These need a 7mm bit - especially in masonry - not a common size in big box sets* For certain, heavy duty jobs, Fischer make better suited products...but that's another story.

I usually buy a selection at a time but I was ok for the others and these looked the best and I am glad a bought them good bits and good prices
