Can it share an electrical outlet with a Dyson fan of any size?

Thank you for your question. These are plastic and do not conduct any electricity, they are only a child safety product.

Do they melt? I notice other brands have customer complaints. What is the difference between these and others. Made with the same material?

Thank you for your question. These have been tested for safety and there is no reason they should melt since they are not conducting any power or electricity from an outlet.

Is this product really as good as advertised?

Its a simple slip in outlet cover...it requires no thought to install or remove so when you ask if it "is as good as advertised" I may not understand what specifically you are asking...can any system be defeated? Yes. Is it foolproof? No. Remember, "design a system even a fool can use, and only a fool will use it"
