ZOSI C1 Wire Free Battery Security Camera, WiFi Rechargeable IP Cam with 2-Way Audio, Outdoor Wireless Camera with Color Night Vision, Human Detection, Remote APP, for Home Office Surveillance

I bought this camera to use instead of a doorbell cam. Since my doorbell isn’t wired, I couldn’t install one. I love this camera! Setup is easy with the quick start guide they include. The app is really easy to navigate also. I see one small problem, but not for me. It is mounted in a low light hallway, so when the sun is shining brightly, the small part of my screen where it shines is washed out. Just white. I am not using it, however, to watch what is going on downstairs, but to see who is at my door and be able to talk to them. This is awesome for that. The rest of the screen is perfect: great picture! During installation, the guide tells you that if an SD card isn’t installed at that time, the camera will be unable to read it. This is false. I put my card in a few days later, the app told me it was not formatted, but within the app,easily, it will format it. The SD card works fine! You don’t have to use an SD card as it utilizes Cloud, but after 30 days there is a charge for that. With the card installed, you can turn off Cloud. Motion detection is very good although it’s a second or two behind. But you can tap on the alert, and it takes you to the moment of detection in a screenshot. Night vision is really very good, even though I don’t need it. The only difference in quality you can see is that it’s in black and white instead of full color. Daytime is great! It shows colors correctly, clear view of people and faces. Audio I can’t say enough about. I keep the speaker on so I can listen and talk to someone. To speak to someone outside, simply tap and hold the “intercom”, or the Mic icon on the screen. It just couldn’t be any easier. While I can not install anything to our walls (outside the condo) with screws, or anything that penetrates the wall, the adhesive works okay. If it falls, I will reinforce the bond with gorilla glue (found here on Amazon). I am using the magnet mount myself, but either mount is fine. Overall I give this 5 stars, even with the couple of minor things I mentioned. I think, if the camera is not in a low light area, there would be no problem having an awesome picture. This is a great camera for what I need and want, and the price is affordable. I would recommend this for both indoor and outdoor use. Update/3 months later: Everything I said about this camera still holds true, except for one thing. Time before last the camera was on the charger for an entire day and night.. about 20-24 hrs. The camera lasted almost 7 weeks between charges! This time I did the same thing, and on the 5th day it shows at still 100% charge. Update: I’ve been using the camera a while now, and this update is about the battery life.so I discovered, by accident, that when I start charging the battery in the afternoon or earlier, if I leave it on the charger overnight, the battery lasts longer. The first time I fell asleep and it was charging all night. That time I got 6 or 7 weeks. I did that again 8 weeks ago, and it is still at 10%. Now I let it run until it shuts off too, but don’t know if that makes a difference. But yes, I would give this a 6th star but f I could.

I tested this for 5 days before typing this review. Upon purchase the idea was to add to my home security system (a Zosi DVR with 8 channels) but this is an independent "smart camera". This camera connects via the CloudEdge app, which is SUPER simple and has easy to follow instructions included. Once connected, all camera features are easy to access through the app. Pros: The battery life is really good for what this camera can do. Good day and night time quality (screen shots attached). intuitive app. intercom - allows you to talk AND hear anyone near the camera. (also attached to this review) Con: The fact that it is a rechargeable battery: Normally, this would be great, but if using for a home security system, it could get tedious to take down, recharge, and replace. Most CCTV style systems have constant power and do not need as much attention. Overall: If you have a CCTV style system and you just want to add a camera or two, Zosi has some other models to offer that would probably fit your needs a little better. If you are just starting or converting to smart equipment, this is an EXCELLENT selection. Based on my needs, i would suggest using this indoors as a nanny-cam or even as a baby monitor. The microphone quality is great and could help you check in on your home/kids/dogs with ease. The only thing keeping this from being perfect, in my opinion, is the hassle it would be to recharge when used in a building-wide system. All-in-all i still give it 5 stars and will continue to use for monitoring my home.

I bought this because of the SD card and wireless feature. But when I set it up and recorded a test. I pulled the SD card and found out that they do not have a PC program to view the content on the SD card. Tech support after two weeks of back and forth finally understood what I wanted, directed me to a program called VLC but even it did not read their video format. I tried PotPlayer still no success. Don't rely on this to be anything more than a baby monitor. When you really need it to identify a thief or if your wifi or power goes out you are out of luck! What good is a device that you can not read the video off of the SD card? A thief could cut your power and it will record him breaking in but you will never know it because you can not read the SD card's video content or get tech support to give you a viable solution to fix the problem. Tech support was useless. I had to solve every problem myself. When they did reply it was to the wrong question or to a question I had already found the answer to by spending hours of my time. After nearly a month I still have not found a solution to viewing the SD card contents. A total waste of my time!

For the money it's a good deal very easy to set up we have it in the car port and it covers the entire area we have had it for a couple of months and only charged one time now the down side the alarm is not loud at all and the lights are not bright at all but all in all it's good deal

This Zosi Smart WiFi Battery Security camera was EASY TO SET UP ! All you need is the camera and a smart phone with internet reception . I do not like setting up wifi / computer gear, I do not know enough about it. The Zosi Battery Camera was pretty easy to setup. The app downloaded to my phone and started with no problems. The Quick Start Guide is slightly outdated from the app but close enough to follow. Once you start the app it takes you through the setup steps. Best of all when you finish the pages of the app IT WORKS ! The sound is good and the image is clear even tho I have the camera pointed into the light as seen in first image attached. The second picture is at night illuminated with a 40 watt bulb. The cameras IR night vision is good as shown in the third picture. I use the camera to check on the automatic chicken door in the evening to make sure it closes and keeps predators out. The app has not had any problems connecting through different routers foe WiFi. The push motion alerts work well. For live video you can set up the camera without a micro SD card or Cloud subscription but then there is no recording or playback of video. I would recommend this security camera for anyone that has wifi available in the area you want a security camera. I haven't had the camera set up long enough to determine how long the battery life is. This could be the only problem i foresee .

After trying one camera we decided to buy several more because they were just what we needed. Two cameras had problems so I contacted the company. Cathy was very helpful. She sent us return labels to ship back the two problem cameras and shipped us two new ones. I couldn’t ask for better service. She was great.

I use this camera outside of my apartment door because I don't have a peep hole to see who's there. Sometimes the camera can be a little slow at alerting me on my phone when it detects motion. The setup was a bit of a pain because I had difficulties with getting it to connect and spent a lot of time figuring out how to "share" the camera with my guy. Sometimes, the camera goes "offline", and I can't see the "live" view function. Other than that, the picture quality is okay and it has an intercom which, is nice. I love that it has a magnetic base which, I REALLY needed because, I didn't want to drill holes in my rental unit. This camera will do for now. I've only had it a week and hopefully, things don't take a turn for the worse later but, we'll see.

This camera was actually a pretty decent camera. The motion detection, night vision and battery life were really good. One problem I had was the memory card I put in would never be detected really annoyed me that I could not record stuff. But the thing that made me give it two stars is that after barely 6 months maybe not even the charger port completely broke. So now it’s worthless can’t charge it. I inserted the charger as I’ve done many times. This time it snapped off and fell inside the camera. I’ve attempted to reach out to the company to which I’ve had no response. You know what they say you get what you pay for. So with my advice go with ring. At least their stuff isn’t so cheaply made.
