The first one we received wasn’t working properly and I can’t help but wonder if the negative reviews had the same problems we had. The vacuum wouldn’t move much and eventually stopped moving all together. I pursued a refund and was told to contact the manufacturer first for trouble shooting. I’m very glad I did because their customer service was outstanding. After a very short description of my problem I was told sounds like you have a bad unit out of the box. She sent me an email with return info and just as she said they mailed me a new unit when fed-ex scan in my return. The new one came and it works great. It picks up everything climbs the walls and hits the water line just as described. I’m very pleased with this product and the customer service I received.

This vacuum does a great job. Climbs the walls and cleans the waterline as well as the bottom of the pool very well. I have tried two others but ended up coming back to this one. Lasts me at 3 years the first time. The only reason I had to buy new was the line that connect it to the controller became brittle and was leaving residue from it in the pool.

This is my 2nd pool vac. First one was a battery operated one that worked fine when it was charged, but the battery would no longer charge. It was not a Dolphin brand. So I decided that I would try a plug in version and very happy I did. There is no slowing or stopping because the battery was dying. In fact if I need to do an additional cycle I can. The suction power is great too. I was amazed at the amount of “mud” that was in the filter along with leaves and other debris and it’s super easy to clean. I got the cart for it. Which makes it super convenient to move from the storage shed and back. The assembly directions were a bit confusing but it worked out. My only complaint is there is no type of hooking spot to retrieve it from the pool. The last one had a big loop handle that you could pull it out with a hook on a pole. This one is a bit tricker to get out. However it is much lighter than the battery one so you can sort of push it out. I would recommend this product.

Because our first Nautilus worked well for a long time we didn’t hesitate with this purchase. It has been a hassle and an expensive disappointment. The line stays horribly tangled, which means the vacuum is useless since it won’t climb/move properly and seems to pick up nearly nothing leaving our pool perpetually dirty. My husband has made multiple attempts to reach the company to address this problem. On the one occasion he was able to reach someone - after a very long (30+ minute) hold time - the solution offered (stretch the thin line in the sun) was as useless as the vacuum itself. After spending hundreds of dollars and lots of time trying to make a new product function properly, we basically have nothing. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Bought as a gift and they love it. Works great and very quiet.

This pool vacuum is awesome! It climbs walls and everything! We previously had a rechargeable pool vacuum that worked ok, only lasted us 2 seasons so we decided to upgrade to the dolphin! Our pool looks amazing! It picks up all kinds of stuff, small sand and dirt to bigger things like leaves and bugs. Having to plug it in is sort of a pain, but we never have to worry about it being charged! It is a little heavy to pull out of the pool when the filter basket needs to be cleaned, but honestly it’s well worth it for a clean pool! We love it, highly recommend!

Im very impressed with this robot. We had a pipe break at the skimmer which was allowing sand into the pool. The robot picked up all the sand off the bottom, and the pool is spotless.
