Our LG microwave works again!
This fixed our problem with intermittent heating. Online advice said this is a common failure item with LG microwaves. For the low price, it's worth taking a chance. Note that this is a "high voltage diode" and testing with a hand-held multimeter won't give useable results. Easier to just install the new part and see if the microwave works again.

Solved LG microwave no heat issue.
Solved my LG LSMH207ST issue of no heat and no turntable movement. I didn't test it but noticed that there was some white residue on mine that looked out of place (see pic). I went ahead and shorted the capacitor with 2 screwdrivers so I wouldn't get shocked and did the install in about 30 minutes (including microwave front panel disassembly and reassembly). Before the repair when you tried to hear something the light inside would turn on and the countdown timer would start bit no buzzing from the magnetron and the turntable wouldn't move.

This order was a shot in the dark, I could not reference the exact part I needed so I choose this one. I believe the amp rating was a little shy and the voltage wasn't a 25kv, my mistake.

Works like a champ.
It was a 50/50 chance of being this or the magnetron. So, for 60.00 in parts I replaced them both and now I should get another 14 years out of my microwave.

couldn't get it to work, no reading on meter ! So I went to appliance store and bought another one, pay a little more, but it read good on meter.
