Q: Can i add 3 express filters to my counter top express model, the uv, acb, and alkaline...is this possible and how many of these kits would i need?

1 kit to add 2 filters. So, for 3 filters you need 2 kits. But, I'm not sure this fits the countertop model. Filters look the same, but I don't have them.

Q: What fittings are needed to install just the "ION" filter under a sink for the cold water?

I don't know what ion filter you wish to install. But, this set is for adding any filter of your choice to basically any under sink reverse osmosis filter assembly. So, it might work if the filter of your choice has 1/4" tubing connections. Your filter of choice must match the form factor of the other reverse osmosis filters so that the clips hold the filter in place.
