Blows every brand away, besides Hsu!
I’ve purchased a lot of subs, from Klipsch, Svs, Hsu, and many more. Hsu and this sub are the best by far for less. It’s a sleeper. It hits low!!! Svs sale a similar sub for 2499. This is a win and tons of power that preforms. Excellent build quality and sound quality. Great value. Not oversized. Works well, easy to use. Best on the market. Those guys that gave this subwoofer bad reviews on YouTube are crazy. More for less. I want to buy more. 100/100 ⭐️

Heaven Sent God's Gift to Ears and eyes and touch.
Attention everybody music loving ! This is the best bass product on the market. Ultra sensitive/emotional, round , bold, beautiful sound holding the rest of other speakers with higher frequencies hugging them, merging with other speaker system naturally. Unbelievably lovable sound for home reasonable, higher volume levels. Manufacturer matched speaker with amp Godlike! Sensitivity of speaker response was not sacrificed by common tricks/tampering with mismatched Ohmage, overprotecting speaker with lowering bass sensitivity and bass speaker excursion, hyping loudness at the expense of sound quality, etc. / = that makes them most of other products on the market then dull, rigid, dead, soundwise. This is a live being that breathes and hums and booms and rumbles and expresses emotions as mother nature. It is a member of my family. It makes good neighbors smile and bad ones cuss.I was very touched a few times when some amateur CD recording was badly loudly recorded and this "baby bass" loudly cracked without any damage - to communicate to me in its own way to turn volume down due to bad recording. Thank you honey, we''ll do. Design is 100% miracuously the best! However Production place needs to be supervised better - I found 1 front face wood enclosure crack and speaker rubber circle slightly screwdriver damaged. Also screws slightly jagged. But enclosure is super pretty compact, build as T-55 Battle Tank. What is some crack or screwdriver jab in a happy family? Nothing! I have been keeping it for many months now, kissing its beautiful enclosue when I pass it, I keep it 6 inches from my right ear when listening /I am a bass player/ , I am gonna buy one more and if you know where I live and you come to steal it-you'll get it from my dead hands-its SO GOOD. No kidding ! One question I have for manufacturer I could not find in manual. Please, tell me what OHM is the amp and speaker. 4 OHM or 8 OHM ? I am in my 60's and this is the best thing I have ever bought. ThankYou Acoustech, I love your works....This manufacturer is a hero, adventurous researcher on the edge of the 'state of the art'. -Gene-

Hit or Miss, DO NOT BUY from Kart IT seller
One of the worst experiences I have ever had shopping from a third party seller in the last 20 years. The subwoofer was just Ok though all the hypes of playing close to 15Hz mentioned, but it was bit boomy, room acoustic is really important. After playing few tracks, noticed that some distortion started showing for some tracks unfortunately, Even my wife was able to identify when we were watching a movie.I had received a defective subwoofer from this Seller Kart IT who did not pay the return shipping cost for a defective item. For a such a heavy subwoofer, the UPS ground shipping was 170$ from California. Thats almost close to 50% of the original item cost. Even after the successful return, the seller had refunded only 50% of the cost saying that the item was not resellable(of course, defective item cannot be sold as it is folks) It was very disappointing and frustrating for a period of 1 month over a long disputes. Thankfully Amazon helped me to recover the cost. Thank you Amazon. I would definitely do not recommend this purchase to anyone. In case you are attempting to buy from this seller, Good Luck.

Best Subwoofer under $400
I have been wanting a subwoofer that played below 20Hz with some authority for quite some time. Premium subs like a 12” SVS are out of reach for under $800 now. I have been watching and researching this PL-300 for months, so for $380 on a 15% off sale, I went for it. I have purchased multiple BIC speakers over the years and have been happy, and this purchase is no exception.Packaging was excellent, and was throughly protected by soft styrofoam. I replaced a Polk PSW505 with this sub, and there is a tactile improvement in felt bass. It digs deeper and louder as well, so it’s everything I was hoping for. It blends nicely with a Klipsch R120 sub I run with it too.I’m deducting 1-star because I was disappointed when I first played it at only a quarter gain, it distorted badly around 16hz. After doing a full Audyssey calibration though, it is dialed in at only half that gain with no distortion. In my medium size room it performs well, but if you’re trying to pressurize a large room, then you may need a beefier sub(s). Port chuffing was pretty bad at this higher gain as well, but not noticeable at the current setting. An SVS or similar would be cool, but honestly, I question how much better it would have really been for my space. Especially for the big price difference. This is the only infrasonic subwoofer out there for less than $400 at times, and is totally worth it if you have a small to medium room. Only question is durability, but it survived the initial pummeling, so I’m hoping for the best. I will update if it bites the dust within warranty.

Excellent subwoofer at this price point
Added this as a second sub for 7.2 system. Arrived well packed with clear instructions about various settings. Set the volume and midpoint and calibrated using Dirac Live. Great clean base no chuffing for the price you can't go wrong. As people say adding that 2nd sub really fills the space better and we're not kidding BIC audio has worked well for me including their surround speakers.
