Most efficient method of blade disposal
I wanted a safe method of storing and disposing of used razor blades. Given the size, this will likely last me a year or more. It is sturdy, safety and makes a great value for the price. There is a small slot to place the used blades. It is easy to use, and the blades fit through the slot easily. It is also recyclable.Highly recommend, and I will definitely be a repeat customer.

High capacity, but not 300. It's not supposed to be opened or reused.
Great product. I bought one almost two years ago with a new safety razor and 110 blades. It's still got room for more now that I have to buy more blades. It's getting tight though -- I suppose that is mathematically possible given the dimensions of this container and those of the blades, but no, you're not going to actually get 300 blades into this thing unless you can line up everything perfectly without seeing inside of it. I expect that I'll get up to about 120-130 or so before I switch to the new replacement container I'm buying today.Regarding the complaints that this is not openable -- it's not supposed to be. The whole point of this product is to provide a reasonably cheap ($3/year in my case) way to store razor blades and dispose of them safely in bulk. I don't want this to be openable or reusable. By that standard, the product meets all my expectations. While I suppose it may be possible to shake this thing in such a manner as to get a razor to fall or stick out of the slot, you'd almost have to be intentionally trying to do that for it to actually happen.Overall one of my favorite little Amazon purchases. I'm buying my second one today after two years and hope it's still available two years from today.UPDATE -- My initial review above was from June 1, 2023. I decided to continue pushing the capacity of the first blade bank I described that day -- It's June 19, 2024 now and I've gotten at least another 75 blades into it. I estimate there are nearly 200 disposed blades in this little tin now -- it takes quite a bit of shaking and rattling some mornings to get them lined shifted such that I can slide another blade in, but it's still taking more without too much effort. I'm sure I'll get tired of rattling it soon enough, and switch to the unit I bought a year ago, but this first unit has certainly given me my money's worth.

good item
if you use safety blades for shaving or razor blades for hobbies this is a good item to use to place used blades in instead of straight in the trash

Perfect Blade Bank
It’s small and fits in a drawer. It will hold many blades before it is full so it’s affordable too. I like that it is closed. No doors or kids for blades to fall out by accident. Makes it safer for me to dispose of used blades. When it’s full I plan to recycle it at a scrap yard. The matte black finish is stylish and matches my razor stand and razor. Makes a nice addition to the DE ritual!

Essential
This is essential if you are working with razor blades, it keeps me and family safe from anything that could cut someone if left in a trash can

Simple, obvious and wholly recycleable
It is a compact metal blade bank. I’ve used plastic versions but found out they were not acceptable for recycling. In the trash they went. It is a simple single function device. It safely stores spent double edge razor blades.

A must have for those using double/single edge razor blades.
Its really nice, but... it's very small. The photos, as usual, make it appear much larger than it actually is. But,, this isn't a deal breaker, I don't use these types of blades all that often, and I'm pretty sure that this little safe will probably hold somewhere around 150,to maybe 200 used blades when it gets full. Since it's a sealed box, you toss it and buy another one. The main reason I bought this little item is for safety. All of my trash and refuse goes into those plastic bags we all use nowadays. I've been a bit concerned for some time about any sharp objects which end up in those bags, for obvious reasons. This solves one of those problems, and it looks rather handsome nestled with my black shaving mug and other accessories on the lavatory. If you use bare single edge or double edge razor blades, then this is definitely an accessory for you. It's not that expensive, and once full, it will have paid for itself handsomely.
