Junk—throws check engine codes
I replaced my cap with this one because the tether had broken on the original. This is junk—my car threw the check engine light saying I had a minor vacuum leak. I out the OEM one back on and life was good again. I cleaned everything…no joy. I’d return it if I still had the box. This one is a close replica to OEM, but if you look closely you’ll see it isn’t. Piece of junk—buy OEM.

Clk500 fits
Fits my clk500 2005 apache helicopter. Fits better than my old gas cap so i think this will fix my check engine light. Will update this review in 2 weeks. Easy fit -
Replaced original cap which lost its seal-a-bility and caused fumes in the garage.

Identical to original gas cap
The gas cap on my 2005 Chrysler Crossfire needed replacing because the rubber gasket had disintegrated. I had to remove the old fastener prior to installation and that was a little harder than I expected since I had purchased a tool specifically for that purpose. Once the new cap was in place, I started the engine to be certain that it wouldn't trigger a warning light. This gas cap appeared identical to the original and it's perfect.

Your car still will tell you something is wrong 😑It does close it I believe but your car computer will still give you the computer code
