The pods were all smashed because they were packed in a bag not a box. The taste was very sour and off. Inedible!!!!!!

I got these hoping I would be able to eat them up... after one pod my tongue felt raw for about a day. If yoy are trying these foe the first time eat a little at a time.

Made soup very good

This is very sour tamarind. My main dissatisfaction is that it wasn’t shipped in a box and therefore most of the shell coverings are broken. If you want the sour variety, this is it!

Large number of large pods, fresh and in great shape. A little extra fun because the seeds sprout - I started them in moist paper towels and then moved to pots.
