One of my dog’s favorite treats! Love that it’s only 1 ingredient!

My dog loved these! If I give her a bully stick or tendon at the same time she will eat her veggies first! Not smushy or rock hard. Just right! I got a different brand once and my dog wouldn’t eat them. This is the best tasting one for her that gives her the fiber she needs in an easy and tasty way. It’s a great price and way easier than trying to dehydrate my own. Doesn’t smell bad and only has ONE ingredient. I have it as a Subscribe and Save since she loves them so much. Under her leg is a 6 inch bully stick she just ignored until she finished her veggies.

I ordered this product thinking it would be a good treat for my dog. I have a Yorkie but when I opened it all of the pieces are like rocks. I can't even dissolve them in water. Much less. Give them to my baby. Break his teeth. This was horrible. I thought they were supposed to be sweet potato bites. Not sweet potato rocks. So disappointed all that money's for nothing

I was unsure about buying Wholesome Pride Sweet Potato Mini Bites Dog Treats for a couple of reasons. First, some reviews described their texture as crunchy, and second, Jazzy tends to swallow things whole if she can and i was afraid she'd do that with these pieces depending on how small they are. She is now 12 and was a rescue dog that had had no medical or dental care for 7 years and had dental disease. She was too afraid and anxious to allow me to brush her teeth so I began by giving her Teenie Greenies that were soaked in warm water until they became soft, then over months she was able to chew on Petite Greenies (the correct size for her weight - she's a Jack Russell) without soaking. I did also worry about the possibility of sharp edges but I liked that the only ingredient is sweet potato. I also know regular slices of dried sweet potato I gave to prior dogs was more hard/chewy than softer and thought this may be easier for her to handle.I was so surprised, she loves them and spent quite a bit of time chewing on the piece then looked for more. The pieces are small but large enough that I doubt she'll be able to swallow a piece without chewing. They do have sharp edges as other reviewers have noted but I always sit with a dog that is chewing on a treat to make sure nothing happens. As a suggestion, I have used a file to smooth out sharp edges on other treats I've given to other dogs. If she continues to gnaw on them they'll also help to keep her teeth clean. Jazzy loves baked sweet potatoes with a little cinnamon sprinkled on them so I'm glad there is a treat with the only ingredient is sweet potato! All in all, a good product but could be better if they were manufactured without sharp edges.Additionally, these treats have only one ingredient - sweet potato - and have no fillers, preservatives, etc. and are grown and manufactured in the U.S. so they are also safe for my parrots. The love them! The pieces are small enough for them to handle (a Timnah African and a Severe Macaw) and it keeps them busy for awhile as well as being a healthy part of their diet. They come running over when they see me coming with the bright orange bag!

Our dog is allergic to proteins but these don't seem to bother her at all; we only give her one a day, if that.I was hoping they would be soft so we could hide her pill inside it, but I was surprised to find out they are VERY hard!But that doesn't seem to bother her either. She's happy to get a treat and it takes her a while to chew it.

These are one of our pup’s favorite treats. They are excellent for them as well as good for them. Much easier than cooking a sweet potato for a treat. Nice to give our four footed kids something good for them as a treat without added sugar, etc. Great price and fast delivery too!

I've been buying these treats for a goodwill. Sometimes from sources other than Amazon. When I first started buying then, they were a nice big size and hardly had the outer edges hard and extreme. Bow the bag has more small pieces so the outer edges are a lot. The quality has also changed as in moldy and rough pieces. I threw away most of one bag because it was very small pieces in half the bag. Quality has really changed.
