I purchased this for my 27-year-old daughter, and it was easily the best gift I’ve given her in years. Super Mario was her absolute favorite game back when she was little, playing for hours on her old-school Nintendo. It captures that exact "magic" of the original games she loved but with stunning, vibrant graphics. It’s familiar enough to trigger all those childhood memories but fresh enough to feel like a brand-new experience. She spent hours playing as "Cat Mario." The new power-ups are adorable and add a really fun layer to the traditional platforming she grew up with. Getting both 3D World and the brand-new Bowser’s Fury is a fantastic value. 3D World is great for that classic level-by-level progression, while Bowser's Fury offers a more open-world adventure that she found incredibly addictive. I haven't seen her this glued to a screen in a long time! She played for hours straight on the first day, exploring every secret and trying to collect every star. If you have a "grown-up" child who grew up with a controller in their hand, this is a must-buy. It’s polished, joyful, and reminds you why Mario is the king of gaming.
