Q: How difficult would it be to replace the pickup's? The cover plate makes it look like you can only use single row ones.

If the pickup you want to use does not fit, enlarge the hole to fit the new pickup or buy one that fits the hole.

You kid is gripping neck to tight. Suggest maybe buy guotar from guitar center...better products. Thos guitar is cheap made
