I get so many compliments on this candle whether it is lit or not. The scent when it is lit is really pretty - fragrant enough to notice but in no way overpowering. Plus the jar is absolutely beautiful so even when the candle is not in use it adds a little elegance to my decor! Really good value compared to other candles I’ve purchased.

I saw this candle in a local bookstore and was first drawn to the beautiful glass jar. The smell is fabulous! I've ordered a few of these as gifts. Would definitely try other scents by this brand.

This rose scent is pretty much on the nose.It is beautifully scented. The candle comes wrapped up like a gift with a bow. The glass jar is heavy and with some weight to it. The lid just sits on top though; no rubber seal.The candle has a large and wide wooden wick that allows for even burning. Of course you want to allocate a long time for your first burn to make sure the top layer is evenly melted or else the candle tunnels.

I almost never write a review anymore because I do order so much from Amazon. This candle arrived tonight and I was so impressed I felt I had to review it. The candle arrived in perfect condition, expertly packaged, and beautifully wrapped in wrapping paper and ribbon. The candle was encased in a thick foam container and it was, as I noted above, in perfect condition. The candle presents beautifully and it would make a wonderful, impressive gift. The glass container is stunning and although I have not lit the candle yet, it smells heavenly. I would not hesitate to purchase this beauty, and I in fact, plan to order another. I would also find this the ideal gift for that special someone. My sincere thanks to the seller of this candle for taking the time to make this transaction a delightful experience.

When I opened the package, an intense but peaceful scent of sandalwood and rose petals greeted me. Let me tell you this was the box only, not even the glass jar containing the candle. The glass jar in which the candle is housed is beautiful and once used completely, I can preserve the jar for other purposes. The candle burns slowly and doesn't release that hideous black smoke but does fill the room with an incredible smell.This candle is composed of natural soy wax and burns cleanly, although it should not be burned for more than four hours at a time. It appears to be smaller in size yet has a burn time of 50 hours. It is reasonably priced, beautiful in design, smells wonderful, and would make an excellent present.
