I bought this as a gift for my mom to replace a different fountain from another brand that splashed too much. I just got it set up and it looks and sounds lovely. No splashing🙌🏼 It’s lightweight resin, not ceramic. It is the quality I expected from the description. Super easy to set up. The only thing I had trouble finding was how much water it holds. My husband found it and it holds a little less than 2 gallons. **I used distilled water as instructed.** The lights do not not have an on/off switch, but if you’re not a fan all you have to do is disconnect them. The water flow is adjustable. It’s a very nice addition to my moms screened in porch. Hoping it will last longer out of the elements.

I wish I'd bought it last year. The only thing I don't care for is the bright light on the top so I just disconnected it. The lower one is fine. Update: it survived a racoon attack. On its side, empty in the morning, fortunately I unplug the pump at night. But no chips out of it, paint wasn't even scratched.

Honestly this is such a great fountain. But listen, I’ve bought several because we have hard water out here and I never cleaned the scale and it would ruin the paint on the resin. This time around I’m gonna do my best to take care of that. I got scale remover and one of those copper coin things and put it in the bottom to keep it clean. These are great fountains because they have a large hole in the back for easy access to clean. You can also completely remove the tube to deep clean it (I bring it inside and use a tube cleaner snd water pressure to clean it up maybe every few months) I use it for the hummingbirds and they LOVE it. It’s shallow enough for them to stand in the top and enjoy the bubbler if I don’t have it on a high flow. They also love sitting on the edge and holding onto the textured ripples on the side and letting their body get cleaned. I bought two separate fountains recently to try something else and honestly, this is just the best kind specifically for hummingbirds I think. You just need to be willing to put the effort in to take care of it. If the paint comes off the resin, it will still work just fine. The last one I purchased lasted two years before the pump died so this time I bought the warranty plan.
