Love this kiwi peeler. It works great!

The wires could be sturdier. I have used it on a couple dozen kiwi and I can already see the wires have twisted a bit. That said, it was easy enough to use, even with recent hand surgery. I still have to use a knife to trim pieces that get stuck but this makes it go MUCH quicker.

This is not perfect, but way better than a spoon. I saw some of the bad reviews, but was still willing to purchase. It works! You might need to have fresh kiwi to be stiff enough to not turn into mush. This is no different than a spoon. Fresh kiwi is easier to peel. So I am happy with my purchase. It will not always be pretty when it is cut, but I am not interested in visual presentation. I hate peeling kiwi and this solved my problem in the most economical way possible. If you like kiwi, then give this a try!

Juices the kiwi more than anything. Not bad, but not great.

I'm going back to the knife and spoon. I mean, the knife is out either way. This gadget (while theoretically a good idea) is messy to use, doesn't get out as much of the fruit as the spoon, and doesn't give you as much control either. I kept getting bits of skin on my fruit, which they say is also edible, but I don't prefer that part. It will be going back.

My daughter who loves kiwis loves this. It works well and I don’t to help her with it which is great and it’s safe for anyone because it’s not sharp.

It does the job, but some kiwis cause the wire form to bend. Mine hasn't broken yet, but I think it's just a matter of time.
