Black Fabric Dye | Permanent Fabric Paint for Upholstery, Furniture, Sofas, Clothes, Canvas

Very easy to use and excellent quality.I wanted to change the colour of my very heavy double canvas competition jacket from natural to black. It was a bit of a heart in mouth moment starting but had no need to worry.A few scraps of masking tape helped cover some awkward corners but I soon discovered the dye has no effect on coated leather or rubber and wipes of with kitchen roll and water. It covers really well, although such an extreme change meant two coats were necessary. The online description does warn you. I guessed a 500ml bottle would be enough for my 48" jacket, as it was two liberal coats used 2/3 of the bottle. I used a 3/8" artists brush for the edges and seams and a 1" foam brush for the big areas.I left the first coat to dry for two days and the second went on very quicly and left a dense truly jet black finish. Highly recommended.

Good dye, first time user - easy to work with. The colour came out evenly, soaked into the fabric well, and gave a solid, permanent finish once dry. Worked as expected and good value for the amount provided.

The dye covered well but it dried more of a yellow cream than actual cream colour

Awful. Really gutted. Considering the price paid. I bought two bottles of the £29 larger bottle to turn my small pink chair into an ivory cream colour and all its achieved is a lighter pink. So im now £60 down and quite frankly should have just bought a new chair. Waste of money. Go for a different brand! This came out really watery too even after shaking so i believe the colouring is heavily watered down.

I bought this to dye an armchair that had a beigey pattern. Mixed a small amount with colour booster as advised. Used it on underside of cushion first, two coats. Wasnt too pleased with the result so didnt dye the chair. Maybe dark brown was the wrong colour choice. Love the idea of it though. Probably works better on non patterned fabric furniture.

Used it on a cream linen bedroom chair. Was about to throw it out. As it was very very grubby .Decided to give the cream fabric dye a shot. It was excellent . Probably so successful because it was an exact colour match.

Works really well on my summer hats .They look almost new again! Will definitely buy again next year.

When I wash the clothes the color comes out waste of money.

Non è adatto per la tintura TieDyeil nero rimane sbiadito, va ripassato più volte ed il tessuto rimane rigido anche dopo il lavaggio

Die Stofffarbe sieht genauso aus wie auf dem Bild.Ich bin also sehr zufrieden.

Wunderte mich schon, dass die Farbe in der Flasche so flüssig aussah, und genau so war es....viel zu flüssig/wässrig ( ja, steht in der Beschreibung, aber ich habe was anderes darunter verstanden)....farbe ist eindeutig gelb, wird aber vom dunklen stoff total aufgesogen und nur ein Hauch von Farbveränderung ist sichtbar...schade
